Fantastic experience! The rooms are good with 2 beds and hotel has various resting, reading, chilling, eating, and wandering areas for all ages. Kids play room, massage chair room, and etc. Comics, magazine, and lots more books to read. The service is superb! Caring and willing to help. The onsen is marvelous! Large with 8 or more type of onsen from indoor to out door. This hotel is great for family...
It's a bit out of the way, but a very new and trendy hostel. The hot springs have both indoor and outdoor sections, which is quite amazing. The food is also quite good. The breakfast has a wide variety of options. You can only get a hot spring bath after 10 am.
Although it was a course meal, there were some meats I couldn't eat, so perhaps a buffet would have been better ♥️ Breakfast was great ♥️
It was great! The food was delicious. There was also a gym. We could exercise while on a family trip! The lounge at night was also great with free alcohol!
As a couple in their 60s from Hokkaido, we were unable to understand or make full use of all the facilities and systems, but we did use the full-body massage machine many times. It would be a good place for young families and young people using the sauna to enjoy themselves all day long. Isn't the price of the evening buffet a little high, even though it's all-you-can-drink? The bath was quite far...
Stayed four days and three nights, although the room is a bit small, but not a big problem, front desk polite, comfortable environment, hotel facilities are enough to play, can soak hot spring, massage chair, restaurant (buffet breakfast fit my personal taste, time 9:00am finished, dinner 8:30pm finished), rest bedroom, children's play area, reading area. - A hotel that allows people to truly relax...

Not very clean. But good location and amenities. Would probably try the other hotels close by next time.
It is a good value hotel, it was somehow extremely hot inside the room in the evening.
Great value for money with plenty of charging ports, but you can't control the air conditioning yourself.
A room is not that small. It's fit for 2 people and luggages. I recommend for who want to stay and have low budget (but want a comfortable room)
The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were excellent and very friendly and accommodating. The shower was very good. The location is ok but quite a walk across town from the station. It was too warm, and the air conditioning did not make it cold enough.
They should improve their room cleaning skills, there weee a lot of black hair left on the bathroom walls.

The rooms and bathrooms are small but clean and tidy. There is no problem considering only sleeping.
Single room Use a smoking room without meals. The size of the room conformed to the single room of a general business hotel, and I was satisfied without excess or deficiency. It was stated on the website that you could choose shampoo etc. for the amenities, but I could not receive the corresponding service. Shaving is not prepared in the room by default, and it was a little difficult to understand...
The interior has been beautifully renovated, and I was a little confused because I didn't know the switch for the light next to the bed, but I couldn't hear the sound of the next room at all, which is great! There were many hangers, and I was satisfied with the location and number of outlets. I'm thinking of staying again after hearing the attention of the female staff at the front desk.
Budget hotel in the night life district. Will be shut down for a couple of months in early 2017 for remodel. The lobby had a sign that seemed to indicate the hotel has become part of Apa hotel chain. Breakfast is so so, nothing to flip over.

A very comfortable and relaxing place. The public onsen has beautiful scenery, while the private onsen offers great privacy and comfort. The whole area is very clean, and there is a restaurant on the second floor, which makes everything very convenient. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and a beautiful memory.
Met some incredibly nice staff members, and the environment was fantastic! The staff were *********, super friendly, and the floors were spotless.
For Japan, the room was quite spacious, and the facilities were very new. Housekeeping was prompt, and the Japanese breakfast was exquisite. The large, transparent windows offered a great view.
The environment here is first-rate, and the air quality is excellent. There are lots of trees around, and the hot springs are fantastic, especially the outdoor ones where you can enjoy the snowy scenery. It's really suitable for families with children to come and visit.
This hotel is definitely worth staying at. I'm already planning to come back next year! The rooms are excellent, and the cleanliness is top-notch. The service was impeccable, absolutely nothing to complain about there. The only minor downside was that breakfast was pretty average.
The private onsen is great because you can use it whenever you want. The room type is also really beautiful.

This is my regular place to stay when I stay in Asahikawa. All the staff are always courteous and helpful, from morning to night. I am always grateful.
◯ It's conveniently located near the station and has a guesthouse-cum-hotel atmosphere. ◯ The first floor is home to a cafe and bar open from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Also on the first floor, there are 24-hour vending machines, a coin laundry, and a self-service cloakroom for storing luggage. The rooms and hotel interior are stylishly designed, and the easily recognizable emojis are also thoughtful. ...
The price is indeed a bit cheaper, but the room is really small. It is not recommended for people with claustrophobia. If you have enough budget, you can choose a hotel with a bigger room.
Super close to the station. Bathrooms and public areas were clean. But walls are thin and i had a snoring neighbor and my walls vibrated. Face wash, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner are provided but lotions are not. There are items you can rent like humidifiers, hair irons, and hair dryers but they are limited in quantity. Overall great stay!
Fantastic Would 10/10 recommend this to anyone going to Asahikawa. Super clean and nice staff. Delicious breakfast. Good location, just a minute from the station. A must stay hotel if you’re looking for something budget friendly.
Want to stay here again if I visit Asahikawa again.

The greeting at the front desk was welcoming and warm and the location is in good proximity to restaurants while being one block from the busy main stretch. However, room is noticeably dated with scuffs, mold, and a less than comfy mattress. OK on a budget, but in the future I will seek more modern comfort.
Cleanliness: Good Ambiance: Good Service: Good Facilities: Good Thumbs up!
The accommodation is inexpensive, a bit of a walk but not too far. The breakfast is delicious.
The stay was fantastic! The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and parking was convenient. The best part was the happy hour, which was incredibly cost-effective. All three services were impeccable and a huge plus. I highly recommend it to all travelers!
It's an older business hotel, but the location is quite convenient. They also offer paid parking at 800 JPY per day with unlimited in/out privileges. Most staff were friendly and welcoming, except for one manager-like figure (in a black suit, rarely at the front desk) who seemed rather unwelcoming and didn't smile. The buffet breakfast wasn't overly extensive but was perfectly adequate. During the...
We stayed here for two nights towards the end of our Hokkaido trip. We called ahead to arrange parking for our rental car, and the staff member we spoke with was incredibly helpful and pleasant over the phone, ensuring a smooth parking experience. While the hotel itself is a bit dated, we found it to be exceptionally clean and well-maintained. Happy hour offered complimentary drinks and curry rice...

Good view from hotel. services are very nice
4th night hotel, Sado Japanese Inn, too late to book a room, can only book a more partial place, located next to the sky, the hotel is by the river, the mountain pass fresh air, rooms are unified room type, although the place is remote, but many people stay, indoor and outdoor hot springs, dinner and breakfast general, but a surprise is horse meat sashimi
The calm surrounding scenery, the friendly staff, and the simple yet luxurious and neat rooms were all very good. It felt like I was in a Japanese drama. It's a really good place to stay after climbing Asahi-dake. However, it seems difficult to access without a car, so I wonder if you can get there by public transportation. I highly recommend it.
Beautiful spot!!! Quality of hot spring is lovely, opened from 12:00- 8:00 for guests. Always river sounds can be heard. Wanna repeat to stay.
Think this is one of the legend still stands! Lovely onzen and truly healing! The “ruins” (one small and one big development in front) is pretty stunning when I visited. Wonder what will that like in the near future.
Good room, in a large hotel. Lovely sound of nearby Waterfall all the time. Inpersonal service. Split gender spa/washroom. Many hotels in the area have closed and fallen derelict. Do the walk up hill to view the famous Waterfall. Beer vending machine downstairs, great after a days cycling.

The hotel gives a ryokan experience. The buffet spread is amazing for both dinner and breakfast. It has a generous variety of Japanese cuisines and delicious sweet melons are offered all you can eat. The Shirahige falls are just behind the hotel.
The ingredients are unique, but the amount and variety of food are small, there are not many soups, the soup is authentic, and the opening hours are a bit short. The hotel is not far from the cable car, but we still chose to drive there.
It was an unrealistic landscape.
The hot springs are nice, but there is no private hot spring. The shabu-shabu dinner is good, but the other raw food is a bit hard to eat. The hotel has a car to take you to the cable car in the morning, which is great.
This hotel is on the mountain, private, quiet, and has a rich history. The room facilities are good. I arrived after Christmas at the end of December. The snow was thick and soft. I personally think it is better than the snow in Xuexiang. The breakfast and dinner are Japanese style, and the taste is good, suitable for Chinese tastes. The hot spring water is natural, with hot pools and warm water pools...
I will stay with family or friends if I have the chance in the future.

overall, a pleasant experience
I wanted a cheap place to stay, and the hotels around Asahikawa Station were fully booked, so I chose this one. There are bars a short walk away, but not as many as in front of Asahikawa Station. Maybe you can get closer to the downtown area by bus? It's old, but at least the cleaning is done well. The front desk staff was young, but they seemed unmotivated, which was disappointing.
Great stay for the price, single room with enough room for luggage. Breakfast for ¥600 it's definitely worth it, don't expect to be fancy but good enough for the price.
With the increase in tourists and the rise in accommodation prices across the board, it's great to be able to stay here so cheaply. The rooms are clean and warm, so I'm very satisfied.
Location is very nice by the way totally happiness in this travel. thanks for your supporting.
I stayed at this hotel on short notice, but I have no complaints. It's a good price to stay at.

This hotel, reportedly over 80 years old, boasts exquisite interior design, especially the hot spring area, which exudes an ancient yet beautiful ambiance. The yukatas provided in the rooms are perfectly ironed and folded, adding a touch of ceremony to soaking in the hot springs. The staff are also incredibly attentive and friendly.
Very authentic Ryokan. Nice and quiet. The Ryokan serves excellent Japanese breakfast and Soba (freshly mad dinner. Service and hospitality was top notch. Onsen was lovely and relaxing.
I didn't expect much since it's a value-for-money ryokan, but the open-air hot spring bath was disappointing. It's a small bath, only accommodating one person, but it would have been nice if they'd added some plants. The fluorescent lights in the guest rooms could also be changed.
It's a bit difficult to get to without a car, but if you do, it's well worth it. The hotel offers a refined dinner and breakfast, clean rooms, and a sauna with a somewhat dated feel, but well-maintained. A decent ryokan in Asahikawa.
Unexpectedly, there was no shower in the room, only hot springs for bathing. Breakfast and dinner were at the soba restaurant on the first floor. After dinner, I was reeking of cooking fumes. The surroundings were rather desolate.
Unlike a business hotel, this old-fashioned hot spring inn is located on a hill away from the city center, and we were very satisfied with its location, facilities, and the simple service of the staff.

It is a very worthwhile accommodation experience with two meals for one stay. The dinner is a two-course set menu with fresh ingredients and delicious cooking, and the service is attentive and attentive. The bathhouse is large and clean, the public space is spacious, the bed in the room is large, and there is a high chair by the window to rest and watch the scenery. The seafood appetizer for dinner was very stale. There was no air conditioning in the room. There was no elevator, so we carried our 29-inch suitcase to the third floor. The service staff are friendly, the environment is ordinary, and the equipment is ordinary. We booked two rooms for two people. The total cost is NT$10,778. There is a 500 yen (per room) hot spring entrance tax when you check out....
the staff is kind of rude. I understand their command of English language is limited. But the attitude can be seen through body language.
There is no elevator in the hotel, you need to carry your own luggage, and you need to move three flights of stairs by yourself. The dinner is mediocre, and the breakfast is even worse! The hotel is old! There is no air conditioning in the hotel (lobby and room)!
Everything is great and definitely we will come back to staying here again
Lovely stay at Deer Valley, staff were great, very friendly. Really liked that meals were served at your table - we had stayed at a few other places recently that were all buffet style. The food was very very nice, and the italian dinner focus was a nice change from several weeks of japanese food. The convenience store is close by, and Asahikawa's downtown area (3.6km) is also just a 5-minute walk away. I use this place frequently for both business and leisure.
The bedrooms were more than comfortable, the breakfast was excellent, there was a photo opportunity at the entrance, and all amenities were provided.
The room is very big and original retro style. Well maintained
The noise of the exhaust fan running all night was very uncomfortable, and the location was a bit far away. But parking was free, so that was nice.
Location is good but room needs renovation and refurnishing, some part of the room have aged badly.
Kinda vintage hotel with good location, love the theme that feel like European theme

The independent hot spring massage at the inn was great, and the kids loved it. However, the kettle in the room was rusty, indicating poor hygiene and upkeep. The room heating was insufficient, and breakfast was just average.
Amazing stay with private onsen (selected rooms) and lots of amenities and facilities in an all-in-one integrated stay.
This is a traditional, family-run inn that truly excels in hospitality and personal charm. I booked a room with a private bath; it was exceptionally spacious at nearly 40 square meters, and we had the entire floor to ourselves. Our private bath was conveniently located directly on the rooftop, situated at the highest point of the small hill, offering an amazing soaking experience. The family operates...
The hot spring bath, though it showed its age, was definitely worth a soak. I made sure to go every night of my stay.
onsen hotel a bit far out on the hill but if you are driving than no an issue, free parking tho and the staffs are very friendly. public onsen is big and fun for families, wearing yukata and playing at the game room is just nostalgia, bring back good old memories :) wooden locker key is kinda cool 😎 room size is just nice
The location was a bit out of the way, but the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. What felt a bit unusual was that the room didn't come with any toiletries, and we had to use a communal bathhouse for showering.
