9C Hotel in Asahikawa

This is my regular place to stay when I stay in Asahikawa. All the staff are always courteous and helpful, from morning to night. I am always grateful.

◯ It's conveniently located near the station and has a guesthouse-cum-hotel atmosphere.
◯ The first floor is home to a cafe and bar open from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
Also on the first floor, there are 24-hour vending machines, a coin laundry, and a self-service cloakroom for storing luggage.
The rooms and hotel interior are stylishly designed, and the easily recognizable emojis are also thoughtful.
◯ There are six hangers in the room, which is convenient. There is a bed, desk, chair, and two outlets on the desk and two by the bed.
◯ The women's shower room and bathroom require a password for easy access, making them very safe.
The shower room is stocked with POLA shampoo, conditioner, and body soap, and there was a SALONIA hair dryer.
◯ Breakfast is served from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM! ✨

The price is indeed a bit cheaper, but the room is really small. It is not recommended for people with claustrophobia. If you have enough budget, you can choose a hotel with a bigger room.

Super close to the station. Bathrooms and public areas were clean. But walls are thin and i had a snoring neighbor and my walls vibrated.
Face wash, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner are provided but lotions are not. There are items you can rent like humidifiers, hair irons, and hair dryers but they are limited in quantity. Overall great stay!

Would 10/10 recommend this to anyone going to Asahikawa. Super clean and nice staff. Delicious breakfast. Good location, just a minute from the station. A must stay hotel if you’re looking for something budget friendly.

Want to stay here again if I visit Asahikawa again.

Stayed here for 3 nights recently as part of a trip with my teenage daughter. We used Asahikawa as a base for some actvities in the central part of Hokkaido. The hotel 9C is close to the central station and some of the main shooping and entertainment districts are also within easy walking distance. So, let's be clear this place is very much a half way between a hotel and either a hostel or a cabin hotel. If that's not your bag then don't try it, however, if that doesn't put you off then I think you're in for a treat. The staff were all friendly and supper helpful, even if there was a language barrier between us at times. The set-up is pretty good and despite the small rooms and firm bunk beds, the place actually has some handy facilities; washing and drying facilities, etc. There is a fun vibe to the place which we enjoyed. However, the was not much noise during 'dark' hours, which was nice. A small Japanese breakfast is provided (rice, egg and miso soup) and there are also some ramen available in the evenings as well (free of charge), should you wish. There is a cafe/bar open for a good part of the day, and a vending machine in the foyer which included beer. The bathrooms are shared but clean (there are like 10 or so rooms per floor), so there was never any competition. There are separate shower rooms with communal sinks. If I had to be picky, then the bed were are on the hard side, which is fine for me, but my daughter struggled a little. The pillows weren't great either. To stress again, the rooms are small and we had to do a bit of a shuffle of things every time we wanted to open one of our big suitcases. None of these really caused any major bother and we really enjoyed our stay. I'd go back again, If was staying in the area, especially if I had a smaller case.

nice service. rather big rooms comparatively. good and convenient location. old interior decoration. the welcome coffee is a joke, or i should call it water.
