It is a very worthwhile accommodation experience with two meals for one stay. The dinner is a two-course set menu with fresh ingredients and delicious cooking, and the service is attentive and attentive.
The bathhouse is large and clean, the public space is spacious, the bed in the room is large, and there is a high chair by the window to rest and watch the scenery. The scenery outside the window is pleasant.
I also take my kids to draw with colored pencils in the library.
I really like the unique style of this hotel.

The seafood appetizer for dinner was very stale. There was no air conditioning in the room. There was no elevator, so we carried our 29-inch suitcase to the third floor.
The service staff are friendly, the environment is ordinary, and the equipment is ordinary.
We booked two rooms for two people.
The total cost is NT$10,778.
There is a 500 yen (per room) hot spring entrance tax when you check out.
The advantage is that it is very close to the Asahidake Ropeway.

the staff is kind of rude. I understand their command of English language is limited. But the attitude can be seen through body language.

There is no elevator in the hotel, you need to carry your own luggage, and you need to move three flights of stairs by yourself. The dinner is mediocre, and the breakfast is even worse! The hotel is old! There is no air conditioning in the hotel (lobby and room)!

Lovely stay at Deer Valley, staff were great, very friendly. Really liked that meals were served at your table - we had stayed at a few other places recently that were all buffet style. The food was very very nice, and the italian dinner focus was a nice change from several weeks of japanese food. Breakfast was a large american plate, which also included a tasty curry soup (love that about hokkaido). Onsen has a nice view of Asahidake, and it was good to have the option to also take an onsen and sauna at sister hotel Bear Monte.
Deer Valley had a calm, relaxing ambiance, would definitely stay again.

I couldn't go for some reason, so I gave it as a gift to my friend and his wife. The food was delicious and was well received, but the heating equipment in the room was out of order, and the room temperature rose to over 30 degrees, and the bag on the shelf above the equipment became hot. When I told the front desk about the condition, they turned off the steam, so they said it would come down, but it didn't go down easily. He was told to open the door and wake him up. The husband said that he was sick and vomited once and returned home early without being able to eat breakfast. I am full of regret that the present turned out to be a nuisance. It seems that the apology was only the word "I'm sorry."

We enjoyed our stay at Deer Valley Hotel. Our room was connected twin room, very spacious and comfortable for a family of 4 people. Dinner and breakfast are both buffets with decent quality. The onsen is small but good.

Very good value for money. The location is actually wrong. The hotel is set back from the street about 50m. However Google maps doesn't let me correct the position.
