Mimatsuso in Izumisano

Loved everything about it!

We arrived late at 1130pm and was greeted by a friendly and sweet elderly man who offered to lift my luggage up the first floor to our room.

We only stayed for a night but I wished we have time for more!

The place was very neat and tidy we have to take off our shoes and put on house slippers before going up the first floor (a norm back in our hometown too).
I loved how traditional the structure and atmosphere is, perfect for our last night in Japan.

We had spacious room with 6 tatami mats, beautiful mural on our closet doors, well cleaned room with no odours, perfect lighting and our beds were extremely comfortable we had a good night sleep. Our room was right next to the train station but we didn’t hear any noise throughout the night.

Shared bathroom were convenient as there were two bathrooms and toilets on the same floor. They were huge, clean and beautiful complete with all amenities (shower and bath gels, toothbrush, razor, hairdryer, laundry basket). We didn’t bump into other guests at all.

We checked out early in the morning with an elderly grandma and she was very polite and warm, I was very touched. Reminds me of my late grandmother. She bid us goodbye and waited until we crossed the road before she entered the house. Would definitely come again!

Nice calm room with futon, nice service. The lady is careful and took care of an item I forgot.

Its proximity to Izumisano Station makes it incredibly convenient for a one-night stopover, perfect whether you're catching an early flight or simply breaking up your journey before heading to Kyoto the next day. The only minor drawback was the soundproofing, which was a bit lacking and made it a little noisy. Otherwise, everything was perfectly fine. For this price, honestly, you can't ask for much more.

Overall ok. 3rd stay with them. Was a bit worried when I saw a review about bed bugs 8 months ago, but I think it has been cleared, I hope.

It's extremely close to Kansai Airport, just a 15-minute ride on the Nankai or airport line. However, the soundproofing was quite poor; we could barely block out the noise from the electric train and the adjacent room.

Very satisfied. Excellent location and the staff were very friendly.

The room was very clean and spacious. It's conveniently located very close to the subway station, and the host was also very kind. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.
