Guest House Kominka Nagomi in Izumisano

Super nice place, one of my favorite guesthouses in Japan!

My stay at the guesthouse in Izumisano was excellent overall. The room was even cozier than in the photos, with a tranquil, traditional Japanese feel that instantly put me at ease. The space was spacious, the tatami mats were spotless, and the surroundings were very quiet at night, making for a wonderfully restful night's sleep.

What I loved most were the clearly handmade decorations and ornaments: bamboo weaving, pottery, dried flowers, and small art pieces and hangings. They were all carefully selected and arranged, adding a warm and artistic atmosphere to the space. You could feel the owner's care and aesthetic sense; everything was kept clean and comfortable.

There were even small snacks on the coffee table, which brought a smile to my face when I first entered. The check-in instructions were clear, the Wi-Fi was stable, and all the necessary amenities were provided. The location was conveniently located near Rinku Castle and the airport, making it perfect for my itinerary the next day.

Overall, it was a very relaxing stay. If I ever return to Izumisano, I will definitely choose this place again.

Nice & beautiful place, it feels like you are living in a japanese friends house, good amenities & facilities, very clean.

The first floor is large enough to sleep three people in one room, but it smells terrible if someone is cooking. The soundproofing is very poor, but the bathroom is very clean. It's a unique experience to stay in a suburban Japanese accommodation. The interior lighting and the style of the old house are fantastic. Overall, it's a great place to experience.

This was my first time staying in a guesthouse, and it was great. The access to Yumeshima was easy to understand, especially since I was rushing to see the Expo. I would definitely like to stay there again if I have the chance.

A beautiful old town house style accommodation. Four japanese style bedrooms that lock separately, two toilets and showers, a spaceous kitchen, and one big shared living area which is lovingly decorated with traditional japanese decoration and furniture. There are also toys for kids and kimono (yukata) to wear.
The streets are narrow and you might get lost if you don't use a navigation map on your phone, but it's only 10 minutes from the train station. It's a quiet residential area with a few nice restaurants. 30 minutes on foot down the road is rinkutown with a big shopping mall and restaurants.

There were a few minor hiccups during our stay, but they were resolved smoothly. I'd like to express my special thanks to our housekeeper, Keyu, for her help and companionship, and Ms. Yuri for her prompt responses. The guesthouse was warm and clean, with a distinctive Japanese-style home that felt like home. The location is also quite convenient, very close to Kansai Airport. It was a shame we arrived late at night, but I hope to have another chance to experience it again next time!

Facilities: Very Japanese, you can experience Japanese culture.
Cleanliness: Very clean and tidy. You can cook your own meals. The shared space is spacious, and there's even a manga room.

Environment: Conveniently located near a large supermarket and shopping mall. Highly recommended. I'd love to stay here again on my next trip.

If you go alone, the transportation is not that convenient, but you can get there in about 15 minutes by getting off the subway.

The whole building is very Japanese, a residence full of Japanese flavor. I hope Yuri-san can continue to maintain such a great residence.

The small drawback is that there are no toilets and bathrooms in the room, but this does not affect my plan to book a room again next time I come to Osaka.
