I specifically chose to stay overnight in Shirahama Station to see the sea and the sunset at Engetsu Island. The price was very economical, and I could have the room all to myself. The room even had a private toilet and bathroom, although it was the smallest bathroom I've ever seen, it was still sufficient for showering. Here has everything you need: a kitchen, bathtub, and smart toilet. Sleeping on the tatami floor offers a unique cultural experience. The location was very good just very close to Ginza street. Staff was super helpful as they helped us to book two restaurants for two nights (we would not be able as website only in Japanese). Izakaya mon the second one super recommended. It was very spacious: having a main room, another bedroom, a big bath and showers, and bathroom with washing machine. Price was very very good. So totally recommended

I went alone with my child, arriving very late and leaving early the next morning. It was purely a short trip, and the price was acceptable. However, they didn't register passports, the door locks were unreliable, the tatami mats had to be laid by ourselves, and the carpets appeared to have uncleaned or indelible stains. A cozy little guesthouse. The owner is very handsome! The location is great, with a supermarket nearby and a beautiful beach within walking distance. The facilities are very complete, although there were some obvious stains on the bedding that couldn't be washed out 🤣, and the toilet was also quite small. But for this price, it's still very suitable for just one night.

Fantastic experience in traditional japanese style room.very cleaning and perfect service, close to the view only walk 3mins.l would love to come back next year. Thanks again for the help from owner and the lady:)

I will maybe remember the most what we ate at the Guesthouse which was babybel cheese from France while drinking local beer from Wakayama, made with 🍊. Cup ramen sold at the front was also very tasty, and since there is only few restaurants opened at night in this area, I can say it was helpfull having it that night. The owner is friendly and helpful. A very good location. Room is clean. Had a good sleep here. Tourist spot is just a walking distance away. You can also walk to Keynoodle to have a good ramen.
