This is an excellent hotel with a unique mixed sex onsen facing the ocean with sunset view in addition to free private onsens as well as public sex-separated onsens! The room view overlooks the sea as well as Engetsu Island
The sightseeing points are also within 5-10 mins driving distance from the hotel. We expected to watch the sunset at the balcony, while on that day the weather was a bit cloudy so we didn't take a nice photo here
The hot springs and well maintained with so many options to choose from. In the evenings they have free beverages as well as late night ramen after dinner which is nice. But the lines can get a bit crowded
They offer free beer from 3-5 PM, so you can check in a bit early, grab a drink, and then head out. It's a bit of a walk to Shirahama Beach, but it's manageable. However, the views are truly breathtaking
It's a little pricy while I think it's perfect to celebrate the anniversary with my wife. Dinner and breakfast were good, while it may not be the best comparing with other hotels in the major cities
The co-ed section offers amazing ocean views, and it wasn't crowded either. Many people have mentioned that dinner isn't great, but perhaps they're comparing it to high-end Japanese restaurants

The price wasn't too outrageous, so I quickly booked a package that included dinner and breakfast (one night, two meals). Overall, it offered decent value for money. We arrived in Shirahama quite late
The main picture is misleading! I couldn't find the hotel after getting off the train. The first attached picture is what it actually looks like! Exit Tottori Station North Exit, and it's diagonally opposite on your left
Honestly, I booked this hotel specifically for the rooftop view, and the white sand beach of Shirahama definitely didn't disappoint! Plus, the hotel rooms are quite spacious, which is a rarity in Japan, making for a really great stay!
I was in Osaka for the weekend and decided to take a spontaneous trip to Wakayama and Shirahama. To my surprise, hotel prices in Shirahama had significantly increased, and some were even fully booked
The hotel is very close to Shirahama Beach, just down a steep slope. The rooms are spacious with great views and new facilities. They offer a free shuttle bus, and the staff are warm and polite
The bellhop at the hotel entrance was very welcoming and enthusiastic. The Western-style dinner was a novel experience. Breakfast was also delicious, and the service was great

Will definitely come back, thanks a lot to the staff!
This hot spring guest house, has many facilities and equipment, very suitable for the whole family to play, we stayed in a five-person room room is really big, dinner chose buffet have many options
Great hotel in Shirahama, the buffet is great. Different seafood and lots of delicious stuff. Free drinks in different parts of the hotel: beer, wine, coffee and lots of other stuff
The hotel dinner is a buffet, with a lot of choices and the quality of the food is very fresh. The room we stayed in this time was a sea view room, which was very spacious
Best experience of my life. It has Japanese hot spring a swimming pool and has a golf course. The dinner is amazing they cut a huge tuna fish for the public every night
Wonderful experience~ Food is excellent, services were great. A really great resort to relax and have onsen for all ages~ 5 star standard i would say~

The dinner buffet is great!!! When booking a room, you need to confirm whether it includes two meals. You can really eat delicious food. Ctrip's order confirmation is also very fast, almost in seconds
The hardware facilities of the rooms in hotels built more than 30 years ago are a little nostalgic, but you can imagine the luxury of the time. The basic rooms are very large
The onsen was also very refined, with relaxing views over the sea and a range of different baths. My wife and I greatly enjoyed our stay here and would return again
I booked a basic room, but I want to emphasize that the main feature of Kawakyu Hotel should be the breakfast and dinner buffet
Everything was great, thank you very much.
The view from the 8th floor was great. I was concerned about stains on the carpet and bald spots due to aging facilities. I don't like the fact that there are metal fittings without any paintings

located at mountain top with free car parking, good for self driving trip, room size is big with good view and equipment is bit old but well kept, good real hot spring, dinner and breakfast is above average, bedding is comfortable
I have completed a self-driving tour in Japan with the Sanbaibing Hotel. The hotel I chose today is a hot spring resort hotel with dinner and breakfast. The room is a sea view room with a nice view and a large room
Front desk staff
Restaurant staff
Everyone was smiling and kind enough to greet us ^ ^
The kids were happy and played in the pool with great enthusiasm ^ ^
We will definitely come and stay with our kids again
There are almost no restaurants around the hotel, so it is best to book dinner and breakfast at the hotel. The breakfast is also very rich. When traveling in Japan, my favorite thing is the hotel breakfast
The ingredients are really fresh and delicious. The hotel also has a large bath for hot spring bathing, especially the open-air hot spring. If it snows in winter, it is very artistic
Although the hotel is quite old, it is still clean and tidy. The buffet food in the evening is of good variety, taste and ingredients

The white sand beach right outside is absolutely beautiful, and I heard the sand was actually imported from Australia! The half-board (dinner and breakfast) was decent, nothing spectacular but no complaints either
Right by the beach, I felt incredibly comfortable, and it's super convenient for transport. The whole experience was perfect for just chilling out
Staying alone on a weekday during the off-season, I was given a room on the lowest floor, the 3rd floor (later found out this entire floor was occupied by Chinese guests)
awesome location, awesome onsen, we book a traditional japanese room with ocean view, it was fantastic
The overhanging eaves outside the window also felt quite oppressive. However, considering the price of over 700 including two meals, I decided to put up with it. Other aspects, though, were quite good
I passed by other hotels, but I think this one offers the best value for money

The place was a bit old but clean and had good anti-infective measures so I could use it with confidence. The staff was kind and polite. The sashimi and grilled meat were really delicious for a buffet dinner
Nice, so confortable and delicous food. Many things to do and free drinks.
guest can have free drink and seat in the sofa or tatami seat when they read of cometics book in there. It also has outdoor foot spa in the beautiful garden and many sofa in the large check-in hall
The room was big and the facilities were substantial. Free WiFi is available and I think the speed is fast enough to use for web browsing
This Hotel is a new facilities and traditional style hotel because their room is divide in two part, the first part is western room which have two single bed and other is tatami room
great Japanese style rooms, plenty of room. Location is literally on the beach! Lovely hotel with onsens & pool, however pool is closed from 01 Sept for the off season.

Our family of 4 had a great time at Infinito. We like to thank the team for making our stay super comfortable. The view from the Pacific Cafe is incredible with sunset. The hot bath with ocean view is unique experience
Upon arriving at the hotel, every corner offers beautiful scenery and pleasant surprises. Both dinner and breakfast were wonderfully Japanese, which I loved
The environment was great, very clean, and the facilities were new. The food was also good. The only issue was a communication problem with a girl during check-in, but everything was resolved afterward. Recommended.
The annex room was spacious, but the view was obstructed. The hotel service was excellent, and the lobby cafe offered a superb view. It's a bit inconvenient as you need a taxi to get to the city center.
The location is impeccable, truly the best hotel in terms of where it's situated. The only downside is that the price has been quite high recently. Breakfast is Western-style, and dinner is Japanese
Transportation is inconvenient, but there's a shuttle service to Shirarahama Beach. It's about a 15-20 minute walk downhill to a convenience store. The distance isn't actually that far

Arrived here and met a guy called Chishiya, girl Kuina and a couple Arisu and Usagi. We partied and then bad boiz with guns began to fight. Then a game 10 of hearts started and we almost died! Overall, 10/10
I luckily survived though and now i am out of there, living happy in the new world. I love this place because of the memories i made. Partying everyday until the next morning!!!!! BEACH
it was FANTASTIC!!! i was at the pool area then i realised a game had started. 10 of hearts? anyways i rushed to the main building and everyone was panicking
It was also convenient as a base for sightseeing in Wakayama, and since we came by rental car, we went to see "Sandanbeki" the next day (about 30 minutes by car), and we were very impressed by the spectacular sea and magnificent natural scenery! I recommend it as a base for golfing and sightseeing in Shirahama!
It was nice that there was a golf course on-site, and on the first day, my husband and I enjoyed playing golf together. The large bath was also a hot spring, and there was an open-air bath, which was great
It’s quite an imposing place at the beginning. In photos, the hotel seems grand and a feeling of antiqueness to it. Location is out of the tourist-heavy beach but very quiet and adequately well maintained

Checkout was 12pm so you have plenty of time to soak in the hot spring/hot tub/pool/morning walk
Buffet food depends on season but better than normal. Had grill/bbq for dinner and breakfast during my stay
I've been working at this hotel in 1996 as singer, and I fell in love for its friendly people, the very good way I've been treated and welcomed, and the six months I lived there, were one of the best time of my life
Got the highest floor with a ocean view, tatami room. Pretty far out from the station but reachable with city bus. It’s near the cliffs attraction and walkable to the ocean hot spring
Delicious foods and drink. It is a all_inclusive hotel.
good onsen and a Warm and wide room condition.
Shirahama is just a lovely place to live in, and make good friends all around
This was my second stay here and it has been improved greatly.

The three scenic spots of Shirahama are nearby, only about a 15-minute walk. There are also delicious ramen, set meals, bread, etc. Most importantly, the food is affordable and delicious! 😃😃😃
I don't usually write reviews, but I absolutely loved this hotel! Transportation is great; a bus ride from Shirahama Station to Shin-Yuzaki Station takes about 20 minutes
Although the hotel is on a small hill, it's only a two-minute walk, no effort at all. Across the street are the popular Seamore and Key Noodles restaurants, and Sakinoyu is just a short walk away
Service: The hotel service is excellent. They offer Chinese-speaking staff and can help you make restaurant reservations. Location: Excellent location
The hotel is located near the Shin-Yuzaki bus stop in Shirahama. It's accessible by walking up a slope. Because of its hillside location, ocean-view rooms offer a great view, overlooking Shirahama Beach
This hotel is highly recommended if you're visiting Shirahama! 👍👍👍
Facilities: Very complete. Free onsen (hot spring), swimming pool, and gym

Even if you look at the washroom from above, it's often clean, but if you sit down and look at it, the edges aren't cleaned and it's often dirty, but Mr. The food was my favorite taste, so everything was delicious
This is one of the few ryokans that offers in-room dining for both breakfast and dinner. After arriving, they helped move our car and luggage, and everyone was incredibly kind and wonderful
However, when I went to a convenience store next door to buy coffee, I happened to find an ice mayfly, so it was good. In addition, although it was a weekday stay, reservations were full at Jalan etc
✨
The hot springs were sourced and felt amazing!
The bath in our room even had a Miraba bath!
In-room dining was extremely convenient for those traveling with children
I was so happy that they asked us in detail about room preparation and what we needed!
Both breakfast and dinner were so large that I was worried I wouldn't be able to finish them all, but they were so delicious that I finished them all before I knew it
It was located right across the sea and next to an ancient public Onsen. Don’t miss it if you are interested and it’s super cheap. We had the food inside our room for both breakfast and dinner

The hotel's location is super convenient; you can take a bus directly from the JR station, and Shirarahama Beach is just across the street. The staff were very welcoming and explained all the facilities
The private onsen rooms are really spacious, offering excellent value for money
The building is old and probably not for everyone, but the onsen is amazing and authentic. The atmosphere feels like an old-style Japanese holiday, just like my childhood memories
I‘ve been there already 3 times. It’s an older hotel but has everything you need and an onsen.
It‘s close to the beach and the orice is reasonable.
Hotel Location is perfect, right next to the beach. Facilities are a bit old but still good
Good location for the beech and short drives to most points of interest. Had a hot balcony foot bath overlooking the beech. The onsen in the hotel was good and relaxing and was not chlorinated water as is common in Osaka

They have a footbath facing the ocean and hot springs with both glass-enclosed walls overlooking the sea and open-air options. There's also an observatory extending out over the ocean (requires a separate ticket)
The hotel is a bit old, but some rooms have been renovated. Overall, it's still very good, and the meal arrangements were quite nice. I'd come back again if I have the chance; it was a wonderful memory and trip.
While the dining options are quite varied, the Japanese cuisine isn't among the best, and the ingredient selection is just average. There are some seafood restaurants nearby that can offer a good alternative
Everything is fine! Location, Onsen, breakfasts and dinners, pool, 2nd floor with entertainments, beds, front desk staff… one thing should be fixed! Rooms are tired. Dirty carpets, walls etc
The bakery downstairs at the hotel has delicious bread! It's a shame I didn't get to try the hot springs this time, but I'll definitely be back

The hotel features an outdoor bath (rotenburo), and the men's bath was almost always empty, offering a peaceful experience. It's frequented by mostly local guests, contributing to a quiet and relaxed atmosphere
However, the hot springs, with both indoor and outdoor baths, were a real highlight! Senjojiki is conveniently located just 200-300 meters to the right, offering breathtaking sunset ocean views
If you wish to avoid a long and tedious bus ride, taking a taxi is recommended (you can Google "Meiko Bus" for taxi reservation phone numbers). The hotel breakfast was mediocre
I come to Wakayama every month, and this is always my go-to hotel. The reasons are its fantastic location, spacious parking, a wonderful onsen, and complimentary breakfast
Plus, it's very affordable! The only downside is that the toilets and washbasins are shared facilities located in the hallway on each floor, not available en-suite
Famous attractions like Senjojiki and Sandanbeki are located nearby. It's quite a distance from Shirahama Station, and bus services are infrequent

great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The room is a good size and clean. You can see a little sea view from the window. You have to go to the public bath for bathing. The service staff is very kind
The restaurant sells all kinds of homemade and delicious bread, simple drinks, and there are no other stores around. Western breakfast is provided
For transportation, you need to take a taxi or drive by yourself. If there are no special attractions around, you basically need to take a taxi
It was in a private house and was a quiet place. It was a Japanese-style room, but it was spacious enough for two people. There was also a large bath, so we were able to relax.

But is it really that rare that you can't see this from outside?
Men and women alternate bathing in the morning and evening. The hair dryer has a weak airflow,
so if you have long hair, you might want to bring your own!
A very good hotel for the price, with an onsen and sauna included. A bit out of the way, but if you enjoy quiter areas, then it's perfect.
This is an inn where you can relax. It's close to tourist attractions, but in a quiet place, so I thought it was a great location. The food was delicious, and the hot springs were very relaxing
The tub bath in the room was also fresh and felt great!
The open-air bath had a great view!
It's on a hill with a great view,
and when you move from the indoor bath to the open-air bath,
you can get a glimpse of the residential area
The hot spring water is odorless and has a slightly salty taste, so it doesn't feel very much like a traditional hot spring, but the view from the open-air bath is beautiful (see video; I recorded it because no one was there)
When booking, I asked the front desk if I could request a non-smoking room, but the current staff said they didn't know about the time when there were smoking rooms. It might be a good idea to request one when booking

No view from the room, but that's fine cos the Onsen itself was worth a visit. Steep short hill up to the lobby, but if you drive then that's fine. Free to use outdoor BBQ area, but didn't have the chance to
Rooms were comfy, sleep was good with minimal disturbance. Side note: my underwear got stolen at the onsen and I never managed to find it back again but that's fine cos it was worth the Onsen experience
We showered at the Onsen instead since we were there to spend time! The Onsen is tattoo-friendly as confirmed by the check in staff, and the water really had skin smoothing effects
Stayed two nights here, no regrets, would totally do it again! Oh and Onsen area has got numbered lockers to store your belongings but not your undies!
Yukatas are available at lobby area for all guests, and level two has a restaurant with microwave and ice machine outside for your konbini meals
Beautiful Ryokan! The room I stayed in had tatami floors and western beds. The doors slide instead of open outwards like they usually do

I love this hotel so much: comfortable and spacious rooms, unobstructed sea views, complete facilities, clean, and the hotel staff is super friendly, choose with your eyes closed!!! The hotel has a modern lobby on the first floor, and there are laundry rooms and bathhouses on the first floor, which are separated by men and women! Laundry room: Wash and dry separately, 100 yen for 30 minutes, usually...
The second floor is a public shower room, which is separated by men and women and has strong independence. There is also a public kitchen with complete equipment. Ingredients can be bought at the seafood market
The public kitchen has everything. Other seasonings can be bought at Lawson downstairs, which is super convenient! This is the second time I came to Shirahama. This time I chose to stay in Shirahama
Location: Superb location, even closer to the sea than the Marriott on the map. The bus stop is right down the hill. You get a direct sea view from the window. Good points: The AC works well
There were quite a few bugs, but luckily they were all outside the screen window. Downsides: 1) The public bath changing room requires you to be barefoot, and the floor was a bit cold
Aside from having to carry luggage uphill for a bit after getting off the car, everything else was impeccable. The views, including both sea and cityscapes, were perfectly situated

The staff were very friendly, and there was even a lady who spoke Chinese! As soon as we got off the bus, a staff member ran out from the hotel to help with our luggage – super thoughtful and attentive! If I come back to Shirahama, I'll definitely choose this place again
After checking in, there was a staff who come to the room at 530pm to set up the futon beds for us. For a small fee, you can n actually get the staff to cut your fruits for you! They really know how to pamper the guests
The best thing about this hotel is the service by the staff. When I first got off the public bus and started walking up the slope with my luggage, the hotel staff run out from the hotel, and help me with my luggage
I've never stayed in a Japanese-style room before, so I decided to give it a try this time! The hotel is great, with an excellent location right by a bus stop, making it convenient to get anywhere
The location is super convenient, close to everything. I'm not sure about the onsen, but my husband said it was excellent. I was very satisfied with the room; every detail was well thought out
