Hotel Ichimatsu in Funabashi

Hotel Ichimatsu was good, but I don't understand why Trip.com advertised free parking in their guide, but then arbitrarily told the hotel that parking wasn't required and we paid for it at the hotel.

Attended a concert at LaLaport Tokyo Bay and stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. Location was awesome, quiet neighbourhood, close to 7-11, Daijingushita station (one station away from Funabashi station). Room was clean (despite looking dated), staff service was great. Towels changed every day and room cleaned every 2 days. Liked the concept of leaving keys at reception when leaving (keys were bulky) to avoid misplacing it. Overall had pleasant stay.

Service: First and foremost, their service is excellent. Both their professionalism and hospitality are above average in Japan.

Facilities: The facilities are typical of traditional Japanese hotels. You might be surprised by the size of the elevator. The rooms are even opened with a key, or a square latch if you don't have a card. You probably wouldn't find this kind of feature in China.

Cleanliness: It was actually very clean, but I was a little bothered by the rather old quilt.

Hotels near Makuhari Messe were too expensive. I chose this hotel because it was cheap. The reception staff were very hospitable. I'm happy with my choice of this hotel. It gives off the impression of luxury from a bygone era. It's been beautifully renovated and the room was very clean. It's about a 20-minute leisurely walk from the station. There's a Funassyi store, convenience stores, and various restaurants nearby.

This is a very traditional Japanese business hotel. While the facilities are a bit dated, they are neat and clean. The Japanese-style room we stayed in was large, with an in-room toilet and sink, but showering required leaving the room (Japanese-style rooms have their own dedicated bathroom). Breakfast was a Japanese-style breakfast per person, and you needed to arrange a meal time with the front desk the day before. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and you would leave your key at the front desk when you leave. Please note that check-out is early, before 10 AM, so it's recommended to pack your luggage in advance. (We arrived much later because our belongings were so messy, which delayed the cleaning process, etc., and we apologize for that.)

To catch a show, I chose a hotel closest to the Lala Arena. The overall décor was quite cozy.
The receptionist who greeted me was an elderly lady who spoke slowly but patiently. If you had checked in before check-in, she would bring your luggage directly to your room.
The room interior was traditionally small and Japanese-style, but a 26-inch suitcase could be fully expanded, so the room didn't feel too small.
It's important to note that after checking in, you need to return your key to the front desk whenever you leave. The front desk is apparently staffed 24 hours a day, as I saw an elderly gentleman there late at night.
I took a 30-second video of the room upon check-in and edited it for your reference. Although I only stayed for one night, I had a very good impression of the place.
