CVS Bay Hotel Annex in Tokyo

The best feature of this hotel is undoubtedly its location. Being situated so close to the train station was incredibly convenient and made navigating the city simple. It offers tremendous value, as everything felt great for the price point.

The room itself was clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and tidy space to return to after a day out.

Overall, for travelers prioritizing convenience, cleanliness, and budget, this hotel is an excellent choice.

Putting aside any resentment towards Japan regarding the hotel itself, the overall environment is fantastic. The hotel's location is slightly remote, near the sea, but thankfully convenient. There's a restaurant downstairs and a convenience store next door, so you can buy almost anything you need. The hotel's breakfast is excellent, with almost no repetition each day; the scrambled eggs are particularly delicious. The only downside is the small room; a 24-inch suitcase can't be opened at all. The hotel's cleanliness is superb, very spotless and odor-free. Staff clean the room daily, and the toilet is also very clean. The bathtub is small, but it's perfectly adequate for one person, with a separate shower and toilet area. The hotel provides a kettle, so hot water is readily available. The front desk staff are very friendly, and the check-in process is a highlight—you can check in yourself at the self-service machine, which seems to be something not yet available in China!

The hotel had great, polite, and kind staff. The frontdesk was very accommodating, they were all able to help me regardless of my limited and broken Japanese. They're able to keep luggage before check in, which allowed my family to spend the day at disney. The check in and check out were a self-service but the staff there helped me out to start things off. The rooms themselves weren't big, but that was to be expected. The toilets and room were nice and clean, smelled great too. Amenities were provided in the lobby to take.

Overall a great experience, the breakfast wasn't bad, and the nearby station and Lawson was a great plus. The self-service felt nice. Not having to go through as much social interaction is amazing when you don't really understand the language. Would definitely return.

A place to sleep
Booked last minute for our disneyland trip for a good price. They were able to hold our luggage in the morning before we checked in which was nice. The hotel is basic enough, really just a place to sleep. There was some mold on the blinds and around the windows in the room that needs to be addressed and the hallways are a bit of a shambles. However for just being a place for us to sleep we got a good nights rest and it was super close to the train station. They also have free breakfast but the first day we couldn't figure out where it was as it was outside of the hotel and in the pouring rain we couldn't work it out and the second day we were too busy so cannot comment on what was on offer but nice to have included in the booking.

Very good! Convenient transportation

I stayed overnight while out with a friend, and the environment was satisfactory.
