This was my first time using this hotel. I chose it because of the good reviews. It was almost as good as the reviews said, but there were six stink bugs in the room. This is a major drawback. Stayed in the rooms called 'Bettei Rikka'. They have a private bath in their balcony. So we could enjoy hot spring at anytime we want. Also the service staffs are really kind for us.

The room was Japanese-style and the experience was great. Being in the mountains was so relaxing; you couldn't see a soul, haha. Aside from a slight odor from the hotel, everything else was perfect. Those who like off-the-beaten-path experiences should definitely give it a try!

The dining environment was not good, I ate surrounded by elderly people in a space that resembled the dining room of a nursing home.

I stayed here as a couple with my elementary school child. For one night, I thought it was reasonable and good with hot spring baths and breakfast included.
