While not exactly an open-air bath, the bath on the rooftop/balcony was exceptional! However, the stairs had a terrible animal urine smell, which was very unpleasant for someone with a sensitive nose like me. It smelled like dog urine or cat litter, so I hope they will take proper measures to address this. There was also a problem with the air conditioner in our first room, but they changed our room for us. The indoor bath is very hot, so children should be careful. I understand that there are various issues due to its history, and I appreciate their efforts in running the business, but I think they could attract more customers if they made just a few more improvements. The food was delicious, but I think more mainstream options would make it easier for families to use. However, the staff were very kind and took great care of us.

I stayed at this hostel for one night with two meals included.

I've seen some negative reviews about the cleanliness and whether or not there's a refrigerator, but it didn't bother me.

Not having a refrigerator is common in a guesthouse, and a cooler box is more than enough. It's also a given that you should buy drinks and other items when visiting a tranquil location. You'll need to take any trash from your brought-in items home with you.

The negative comments are probably from people who are used to staying at chain hotels and inns.

The hostel was meticulously cleaned, and even though it was summer, we weren't attacked by insects or mold. The observation bath was also clean. Insecticide was provided in the hallway.

The food was delicious, with a wide selection of dishes, all served hot. The flavors were a little bland, but I was able to adjust them with the condiments on the table. The alcohol menu was very reasonable, and even though I wasn't planning on drinking, I ended up ordering a bottle of wine. ◎

It was a very satisfying meal.

There was equipment for playing catch and basketball in the courtyard, which I'm sure kids will enjoy.

The owner (?) was also very warm and welcoming, and we had a relaxing time in a homely atmosphere, just like in a pension. Thank you very much.
