Large and clean rooms with great ocean views. Great amenities and very friendly staff! Amazing option for travelers on a budget and solo backpackers. Owner is also super friendly and accommodating. I couldn’t make it to my first night’s reservation due to transport issues on my part, yet he was kind enough to offer me a refund.

I arrived at night, and the access to the hotel was difficult, and I had to go through a pitch-black mountain path, which was quite scary.

It is recommended to drive or charter a car to stay, otherwise there is only one bus to Shimoda Station in the morning. I took the bus three times. As long as it is not the starting station, it will be late. Backpackers should prepare in advance. The accommodation environment is good, very quiet, and clean. It is not far from Shirahama Beach. It is not easy to get a taxi! ! ! It is very difficult to get a taxi! ! ! Taxis cannot be booked, and all rely on buses. Didi and Go will show that there are no cars. It seems that the whole Shimoda is like this, even the software at the station shows this.

There are two roads leading from the national highway to the mountain side, but when I first went, I took the north road. The north road was narrow but driveable, but the south road was dangerous. I was driving an Odyssey, but it was a steep downhill slope and the width was just barely wide, so it was difficult to back up, so I was prepared to scrape when I went down. Did it say on the website that the road was narrow? I'm sorry if I overlooked it, but it would be appreciated if it was mentioned.
