Almont Hotel Nippori in Tokyo

The room facilities are very new, and the transportation is very convenient. The Skyliner goes directly to Narita. I recommend getting off at the North Exit because there's an elevator. The South Exit is closer but has steep stairs, which isn't suitable for luggage. There's a machine at the East Exit where you can buy Shinkansen tickets. Nippori is a transportation hub, but it's not large itself, making transfers easy. The room is tiny; with a child, three people barely have space to move. Positioning it as a 'Kaiyuan Mingdu' (a premium hotel chain) in Tokyo, where land is precious, if you booked it for 800 (yen/currency unit implied), it could work for a transit day. For 1000, it's just barely acceptable. The breakfast isn't as good as some reviews suggest; the breakfast area is about 100 square meters. You can tell if it's truly diverse just by looking at its size. We booked it last minute for 1200+, and I felt like we were completely ripped off. The small size is really unbearable, and they don't even provide water in the room. During check-in, the front desk mistakenly gave me two 17m² rooms, and it took a long time to sort out. Next time for a transit day in Tokyo, I'll choose a larger hotel along the Yamanote Line after transferring from the Skyliner.
