Where to stay in Kara-Oy

Room service was terrible, cleaning at 06:00 am which made sleeping impossible. Staff was very rude and not servile. Premises at Korpus 1 awful! Location, pools and the park were the most pleasant part of my stay. Food was awful, no knives provided. No supermarkets near by. Insect repeallents are must! Beach is very nice and clean.

I just visited for 2 hours. A very relaxing spa. It has both an indoor pool and an outdoor spa. Try dipping in an ice-cold pool and hot spa together.

We rested in this wonderful boarding house in building 1 with 301 rooms. We were extremely pleased! The room itself was very comfortable and clean. Excellent staff. They are kind and hospitable people. I arrived at the hotel at 11:30 pm with prior notification and they were waiting for me. They helped me with lifting my luggage on the fourth floor. The hotel is located at the border of Kara-Oy village and Cholpon-Ata city, a little away from the city center, but near the water front. Small family-run hotel with friendly staff. We stayed there one night and felt really welcomed. They speak a bit of English so communication was no problem. Only bad thing is that there are not of other things around the hotel. Otherwise a good place to stay!

The rooms are super! VERY clean! Everything is well-made (light switches and sockets are working properly, doors don't creak, faucets are not loose). Bathrooms are in the rooms. Ok for a stay, but not too great. Ever slept on a construction site? Here you can. Half of the hotel is still unfinished, and the finished parts can be a bit unfunctional. The shower floods itself, the kitchen is messy, and the room was not cleaned very well. The view is nice, but you got to walk 20-30 minutes to reach the beach, and take a taxi to Cholponata. Luckily, the staff was always helpful...

Good beach but the houses did not have air condition
