Aquamarine Inn in Cholpon-Ata

Excellent staff. They are kind and hospitable people. I arrived at the hotel at 11:30 pm with prior notification and they were waiting for me. They helped me with lifting my luggage on the fourth floor. The hotel is located at the border of Kara-Oy village and Cholpon-Ata city, a little away from the city center, but near the water front. Very quiet place. The guest room is fine. Ideal for tourists. I came here on a business trip. I wish there was a work desk in the guest room, although outside every room they put up desks and chairs. That is very nice, though.

Owner is very sweet and helping, breakfast is nice and beds are really comfortable.

Small family-run hotel with friendly staff. We stayed there one night and felt really welcomed. They speak a bit of English so communication was no problem. Only bad thing is that there are not of other things around the hotel. Otherwise a good place to stay!

The rooms are super! VERY clean! Everything is well-made (light switches and sockets are working properly, doors don't creak, faucets are not loose). Bathrooms are in the rooms. Hot and cold water is always available, and the TV and Wi-Fi work perfectly. The room includes bath towels, small towels, and tableware sets (forks, spoons, mugs, knives) for the number of guests. You can also borrow dishes from the receptionist. A microwave is also available (from the receptionist), but cooking in the kitchen requires a fee. By the way, there are no meals at the boarding house.
The grounds are small but cozy. Lots of flowers, parking. The gazebo is excellent, with a large table, kettle, sink, barbecue, and cauldron (on the stove), and there's also a ping-pong table. Cooking in the gazebo is an additional fee. There is parking and a playground. Cozy terraces with tables and chairs, and kettles on each floor (at the exits from the stairwells).
Cleaning is provided. The rooms are cleaned every 5 days, super thoroughly, including washing the bathroom walls and the front door! The staff is helpful and friendly.
Cons: the bed is really hard.
Overall, I liked it. I'd come back again and recommend it to good people.
Speaking of the crowd, it's mostly families, so everything is quiet and peaceful (which is nice). We actually had great neighbors!
