It's a great place for a lakeside getaway or a weekend getaway. The hotel is located right on the beach, and we rented an apartment: it's very nicely renovated, with a kitchen and two separate bedrooms

The grounds are quiet, green, and peaceful. You can play table tennis, and there's a playground. Breakfast is conveniently available for 700 soms. The only downside is the lack of air conditioning

The hosts live in the complex themselves and prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The beach is clean, and there are boat tours nearby. An hour-long boat ride costs 400 som for adults and 200 som for children under 10

From the balcony you can see the beach and the surface of the lake. The rooms are clean and well maintained. Comfortable bed and new furniture. There is free WiFi, widescreen TV, refrigerator in the room

You can use the bar for an additional fee. Each room has a separate shower, toilet and sink. Free breakfasts are included in the rate. Lunch and dinner for extra charge

I've been staying at the Prestige boarding house for several years now. I always book a room in advance. The hosts are always very welcoming and sociable. The rooms themselves are quite cozy

The boarding house grounds are very green, with lots of flowers

However, after a trip to Bosteri, my opinion of this house changed for the better. Keep in mind that it's harder to find similar conditions in Bosteri. The beach is small, and the sand doesn't warm up

The rooms are clean, the TV works, there is hot water. Below you can play billiards, there is table tennis on the territory, a dog and two puppies live. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are sent to a neighboring guest house

It is located 100m from the beach, but the house itself is not easy to find. There is a dining room in the basement, you can cook for yourself, there is all the dishes. At the end of the season prices are affordable

We booked the guesthouse for a day through Booking. Its most important advantage is the quiet. If you're looking for peace and privacy, this is the place for you

On the plus side, the beach is close, but with a rocky shore, but also a 5-minute walk to the local beach, as well as the open beach of the Lukomorye boarding house

In the rooms and on the balcony for 4 days of our stay, no one cleaned and did not offer to clean up, although we asked to sweep the glass fragments from the balcony (at least). Toilet paper was also not provided

YouTube is connected to the TV, which is great, but the internet connection is intermittent. There's a bathroom in the room (sink and shower). There were no problems with water

The design of the house, the garden, the big rooms, everything was above expectation

We raised it upto to the host about no vessels and to our surprise, he gave us frying pan which was so rusted. It killed all our mood to heat any of our food

We only went here for food, not sleep, but it was excellent. Very generous portion for 300 som per person. We had arranged dinner the day before, not spontaneously!

We mistakenly chose a single bed, but they gave us a larger and more spacious room for the same price. The location is convenient, within walking distance of the center, and very close to the beach.

But one towel for two also upset us a little, the lack of a wardrobe/bedside table for clothes (in our case, the backpacks were on the floor closer to the head of the bed, and if we wanted to go out onto the balcony, we would walk on the backpacks)

Conclusion: if you just need to sleep for one night, then it's fine, if you want to stay longer, then keep in mind that the room = bed, nothing more, there is no place to even put things, and bring towels with you )))

My husband and I are both slim, but we couldn't pass each other in this passage. That is, if a double bed has dimensions of 200*160, then a room without a toilet is 250*210, one outlet (phones were charged in turns)

I do really love this gorgeous guesthouse. We used to stay at this house every time we visit Cholpon-Ata and Issyk-Kul lake. This will be already the 4th time we live here. The house is made entirely of wood

I personally just literally sink in deep in the bed when I return home tired after a long walk and swimming in the lake. The summer kitchen is located outside of the main house

It is also a point that the guest house is pet-friendly and you can bring your loved pets to accompany you in the trip. Totally worthwhile, 100% recommend!

In summary, my stay at the Family Guest House was marked by a less-than-ideal room experience, though it was offset by the warm hospitality of the owners and the substantial and delicious breakfast they provided

The location is perfect and around 5-10 min to center, the host and the staffs are outstanding, they do have attached and non attached bathroom rooms. Breakfast was amazing and the prices are very reasonable

This place is typical countryside guest house with green garden, main house with the dining area inside and "summer" rooms called "budget" on Booking

My experience at the Family Guest House in Cholpon Ata was a mix of positives and negatives. Unfortunately, the room had a noticeable odor and was cramped in size

It's enjoyable relaxing place with nice people. You can visit Yacht club Kruis ( Kruiz) for the sunset, rent the boat for 6000 kgs or take a share cruise for 350 som or so, it's really nice experience

Mind you that you are paying per bed in the room, so if you are staying alone in a two persons room, you will still pay the full price. The price is not high and it is fully understandable that you pay for the room

The rooms are not extremely clean, the beds are not super comfortable (make sure you are extremely tired then you would not care at all), the bathroom is old and it is stinky

We have been here by the end of the season, I think this is a great place if you in general don’t have high expectations
