Had a great stay for affordeable price. The hosts are also lovely and very accommodating.

Disgusting! We lost power twice in three days (the first time for 18 hours!!!), and the worst thing we didn't like was the staff, specifically the woman, who works there alone. No politeness whatsoever, no greetings or goodbyes. And when we lost power, she only started calling the emergency services the next morning, and only after we asked! Our room was freezing cold in early October, and we were cold. We asked her for a heater, but she refused, and only on the third try did they give us a lousy one!
Is this even normal? My wife and I travel seven months a year, eight countries a year, and we've never seen SUCH a staff member anywhere!
Therefore, dear owner, we give your hotel a General's Star! Thank the staff!

Small rooms and the sheets and bed covers were a bit smelly. There were 3 beds in a small room and the bathroom was small too but the service and the room all made of wood was nice.

A good budget accomodation, a beautiful wooden house, very close to the Issyk-kul lake. Easy to find based on the photo of the house. Bathroom in the room as well as TV. Towels included.
No kettle, no cups or other basic dishes, basically no kitchen, only a fridge available in shared part of the house.

I do really love this gorgeous guesthouse.
We used to stay at this house every time we visit Cholpon-Ata and Issyk-Kul lake. This will be already the 4th time we live here.
The house is made entirely of wood. It is solid, well-made cottage with well equipped rooms. There are individual bathrooms in each room. The bedding is enormously comfy, IDK what other reviewers mean when they say that it will break the back. I personally just literally sink in deep in the bed when I return home tired after a long walk and swimming in the lake.
The summer kitchen is located outside of the main house. It is equipped with all the required kitchenware. It is both comfortable to cook your own food or bring something and eat here as well.
The view from the room is just amazing. See photo attached.
The owners are quite friendly and already became our good fellows during our stays. We fell in love with Gera (beautiful cat on the second photo that lives here and usually walks around). It is also a point that the guest house is pet-friendly and you can bring your loved pets to accompany you in the trip. Totally worthwhile, 100% recommend!
