I did not stay at this lodge but I was there with friends who stayed 8 days. We had a dinner at the restaurant. Food was ok. I ordered a ribbeye steak and it wasn't as good as I thought it would be. Overall, Karven is a great with lots of indoor activities like snookers, table tennis and bowling.

We payed way too much for the offered service. Actually no service during offseason. Room was quite dirty and many broken things in the room, no wifi no phone no informations about the hotel in the room. Reception didnt even try to help us. Restaurant food and service - no words. Inacceptable for 4 stars. Will not come again, hotel was empty and they gave us probably the worst room with the greatest distance to beach etc.

I finally got to take a dip in the famous Isskul Lake.
The resort was welcoming and beautifully designed.

We stayed at Karven Four Seasons with family and were genuinely so impressed. The entire place is spotless, calm, and beautifully maintained, every little detail is taken care of, and you can really feel it. It’s peaceful, green, and just incredibly pleasant to walk around.
The rooms were spacious, very clean, and super quiet ideal for families, but also perfect for hosting business events or retreats. The staff were kind, polite, and always ready to help, we felt truly welcomed from the first minute.
A special thank you to the administration in particular to Nurlan, Yuliya, Yuliya Em and Mr. Damir. We actually found ourselves in a last-minute, unexpected situation with another hotel, and Karven literally saved our trip. They kindly took us in without a prior booking and handled everything with such care and professionalism. It really meant a lot to us.
The location is amazing, the lake is crystal clear, the beach is clean and well-equipped, and the surrounding nature is just breathtaking. Everything is made for guests to feel comfortable and truly rest.
And I have to mention the breakfast, it was so good! Included in the stay and honestly on the level of a five-star hotel. The breakfast at Karven Lounge was absolutely delicious, we’re very grateful for that too.
Overall, we left very happy and full of warm memories. Karven is a place where people truly care. Highly recommend and we’ll definitely be coming back!

It is a nice property (as a hotel). We stayed for 2 nights as part of our Kyrgyzstan tour. The room is nice, good size, except no AC. There were a big group of cleaning crews when we were there but they worked super slow and missed a lot of details. They are simply not well trained.
The hotel is integrated with some private homes, duplexes, and villas. It is a gated community and it covers a big piece of land. It is nice to walk around as the place is well kept and planted a lot of roses. The large area also means everywhere you go is a long walk.
It has multiple restaurants, unfortunately only 1 is opened and the rests are either closed or went out of business. There were a lot of workers in the restaurant. Unfortunately few of them really work. Most of them just stood around and did nothing. It is one of the worst ran restaurants that I have experienced. We ended up eating at off-site restaurants on the 2 nights we were there.
It has a large SPA facility. I can't comment about it since I did not use it. However, the gym is very interesting. They do not allow guests to wear their own shoes in the gym. Guests must use the gym provided shoes, or the guests must wash their shoes before using the gym. Yes, you hear me right. Wash your shoes before using the gym. Obviously I walked away.
In summary, nice room. The rest not so much. Will I stay in this place again? No.

Great cozy apartment! Close to the beach, inside there is everything for a comfortable stay. There are many entertainments in Karven itself. We really enjoyed! Now we will come to rest in Karven only in this apartment 😍.
