Eko Dom Guest house in Osh

Nice hotel. Clean and comfortable. Can do laundry for a price. Breakfast is free and tasty- eggs, bread, jams, tomato and cucumber, coffee/tea and cereal.

This place is really nice and the beds are firm, which I like. Unfortunately the rooms are poorly soundproofed and thus one can hear the steps from above.

The owner was very kind to me, even though I didn't speak the language. However, it was a huge mistake to introduce the Pamir tour in Sartash instead of Osh. As a result, this Pamir trip unfolded without even knowing what the next day would be. Sartash isn't the starting point of the Pamir tour, but a small village.

An average hotel with a reasonable price/quality ratio

Excellent, quiet, convenient location in the city center

Very good, very clean, good breakfast. Very nice courtyard.

I enjoyed my two-week stay here - and I was indeed able to sleep! My room was spacious, had modern furnishings and even felt homely for the nice decorations. There was a fridge in my room and, most importantly, a lifesaver AC. The garden and the outdoor sitting area, next to a lovely fountain, really made the difference. The breakfast buffet was ok, even by European standards. Sadly, there were also downsides. The room was super dusty and not entirely clean when I arrived. It wasn't cleaned for 10 days. I had to ask for fresh towels and toilet paper, and even then no one came to clean. When I brought up the issue with the hotel manager, he apologized and the room was cleaned the next day. Some of the local staff had an attitude that was rather irritating. Others were unprofessional, watching noisy TikTok videos in the annex of the breakfast room. Some of the foodstuff wasn't entirely fresh. Once you get used to the idea that standards are different here, you will probably like the place.
