It's in the heart of the old city, with a great location. The rooms are divided into an old building and a new building, and you have to walk through the second-floor corridor to the elevator in the new building. I stayed in the new building, and the hotel said the lobby was renovated this year (2025), and the rooms have also been renovated in recent years. It's very new!

Great cheap hotel, centrally located on the edge of the old town. 5 minutes walk to central station. Comfortable and clean, only complaint is the pillows aren't great... otherwise great affordable accommodation.

They don't return items left in a room. I checked out and realised I left an important item to me in the room. (I was gifted that item in the room, so it didn't leave the room at all) I came back later on the same day and they said it's not found. I called them and said could you look for it and they didn't find it, so a cleaning person stole it. They just said maybe it's in the wash but was not found...

It's in a great location, the staff are very friendly, and the former monastery has a magical atmosphere. The rooms are modest but comfortable. I think it's very good value for money. It's strange that you have to pay for breakfast every day in the dining room.

When I arrived at the hotel, the staff had beautiful smiles and a pleasant atmosphere. They were just that kind of people. I was also very satisfied with the facilities. The breakfast was excellent and delicious. Just walk wherever your feet lead you. It felt like you were in the Middle Ages. It was a beautiful city, and I was happy.

It was a clean, organized and quiet hotel behind a McDonalds on the main street. Location is in the city center. If you have heavy luggage there is no elevator so you have to carry it up some steps. I would of liked to see a higher water temperature in the shower. Other than that is was good.

The property was okay and mostly clean. But the shower drain seems to be clogged because the water stayed in the shower for a long time. Except for the cleaning staff, we did not see any other staff. Thus we cannot judge any staff.

Great place to stay, 5 minutes from the train and coach station and 5 minutes from the old town. Its more like a hotel than a hostel as my en suite room was great. Communication from the staff was great and even though they are not there 24/7, its easy to contact them. Will 100% stay here again

They have the old school charm where they ask where you have been, ask what you would like to see, provide a map and highlight the special areas of interest. Clean and comfortable hotel well situated close to bus stops and train station. Easy to get to the river for the museums, parks and castle etc. These lovely people found my new iPad I left at breakfast and kept it safe at reception til I arrived back in the evening and realised I had lost it. Awful pillows, impossible to sleep. Not good especially when you have 4 hours to sleep before the flight. Reception and restaurant staff is absolutely not guest oriented, unfriendly and impolite.

I had a very positive experience with a large group booking for a work event. The hotel is really great, very conveniently located and with an excellent breakfast buffet. The sales department was also extremely helpful during the booking process. I would definitely recommend lodging here.

I stayed in a superior double, which was large and over looked the back of the hotel so was really quiet! However the rooms are very old fashioned decor, and whilst the bathroom was big it had a cheap shower cubicle and an inspiring shower head. I liked everything, especially the location and breakfast. However, the window in my single room was very difficult to open. I had to first stand on a chair, then on the table, because the table completely blocked access to the window unless you stood on it.

The hotel's location is excellent, making it a convenient walk to the old town. However, the hotel itself is quite hidden, seemingly located in an office building. It's easy to miss if you're not looking for it. Parking is difficult to find there, so there are paid parking spaces behind the hotel, which is fine.

Apart from the location which is not central- it’s a great place to stay. Located in a modern complex with a tennis  club /school. The location is just absolutely awesome and walking distance to the key spots in Old Town. There are a lot of eating out options around the hotel as well. Rooms are sufficiently clean though the interiors can be a bit a jarring in terms of lots of gold/other ostentatious fitments in the room (presumably to give a “palace” feel to us lesser mortals!!).
