An overall very good hotel. The standard of cleaning in the room, spa and common areas was very high. Free WiFi is also a huge plus and it's easy to set up. The room did have a distinct lack of amenities, such as vanity kits and tea / coffee hampers. While the lack of soaps is acceptable, the lack of a kettle or complimentary teas / coffees is disappointing and lead to increased expenses at the bar. The staff were friendly and helpful, particularly at the bar and restaurant. I would recommend.

The hotel was clean and pleasant. The pool and steam room were very good and well-maintained. We traveled by car, and the location was convenient with easy access. The only downside was that the pool was only open until 9 p.m.

It’s an average hotel in both price and quality, but the experience doesn’t justify the cost. They don’t provide hot water for tea without charging extra, no basic shower kit unless you pay, and the room has nothing except a pool kit. Even the cheapest hotels in Asia offer these things for free — here it just feels like pure greed. The furniture is old and the rooms feel dated, although at least they were clean. The only positive was the friendly concierge, but overall it’s not worth the money.

Terrible experience – dishonest and unacceptable behavior

I had a truly awful experience at Parc Hotel Alvisse in Luxembourg.

At check-in I was explicitly told that I could leave the room around 2:00 PM, and that breakfast was included / offered. Based on this information, I organized my departure calmly and in good faith.

At the moment of returning the key, I was unexpectedly charged 80€ for a late checkout that I did NOT use, because the price was until 6:00PM they told me, and I was also told that breakfast was not included anymore and had to be paid. This is completely unacceptable.

Changing conditions at the last minute and charging guests for services they were previously told were included or allowed is dishonest, unprofessional and shameful. No clear communication, no transparency, no respect for the guest.

I felt misled and taken advantage of. This is not the behavior of a hotel that claims to be professional or trustworthy.

I will never return and I absolutely do NOT recommend this hotel to anyone.

City is too far to walk, but bus stops in front of the door. Rooms are ok, but watercooker would be handy. Shower is a bit slippery, showerhead is fixed on the wall, which is not convenient. I had problems with my car, but rental car is not facilitated even no assistance with this. Breakfast is buffet, basic but good. Dinner: good quality, for kids limited to only 3 options, which is not enough. No snacks or simple food (like tosti) at the bar available, would be nice because dinner is from 19:00.
