The room facilities were a bit old, but the bed was incredibly comfortable, soft and great for a good sleep. The service was excellent; there was a welcome letter and macarons in the room. The restaurant on the eighth floor was quite good, and it offered panoramic city views; the night view was beautiful.

The hotel has a beautiful view over Luxembourg and the cocktail bar takes full advantage of them. Rooms are comfortable with water and soft drinks provided in the mini bar. The staff were lovely and friendly too. There is no free parking but there is a car park under the hotel which worked out at around 35 euros a day. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel - it was very expensive at 37 euros per person...

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room offered a superb view — truly one of the highlights of my visit. The location couldn't be better: just a 10mins walking distance from the train station or you may take a bus, which made arriving and getting around incredibly convenient. The location is very good. I went out to play when I arrived at the hotel. I took a shower late at night and found hair in my bathrobe. It was too late and I was too tired to bother. I told the hotel front desk about this the next day. They were very nice and kept apologizing. I had a first-class overnight stay at the Sofitel Europe. The room was very spacious and equipped with all amenities. Bathtub, separate shower and toilet. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Freshly squeezed orange juice, good coffee and a large selection of food gave me a good start to the day. The service was also appropriate for a 5-star hotel. Highly recommended.

The staff at Hotel Le Place d’Armes were truly exceptional—the very embodiment of professionalism and gracious hospitality. While the hotel’s layout was somewhat labyrinthine, the team went out of their way to guide and assist at every turn. The property itself was both elegant and inviting, with a warmth that made it feel less like a hotel and more like a cherished vacation home.

The Hotel Le Place d'Armes is a beautiful and unique boutique hotel. Our junior suite made us feel like we were royalty! Luxurious furnishings and appointments including the shampoos and lotions. Staff were very polite and our room was very quiet. The location was also fantastic-close to shopping and many restaurants.

First time visiting Luxembourg and lucky to have stayed here for two nights, centrally located inside a restricted for pedestrians area, excellent valet parking service, small hotel with seven 16th century interlocking old houses with amazing modern amenities, surrounded by great shops and restaurants, great place to be for a short visit to the country.

The room is large and retains the beams of the old building. The location is excellent, and attractions, dining and shopping are all within walking distance. The service is very considerate and the environment is low-key and comfortable~ I was looking forward to the breakfast of this Relais & Chateaux hotel, which is very exquisite but has a limited variety.

The room was clean, but we had a very poor experience with the heating. After realizing the main heater didn't work, we were given a small electric fan that didn't help. Located halfway between the airport and the city center, it's easily accessible via the T1 tram. The surrounding area feels like a newly developed CBD, dominated by high-rise buildings. There's a small shopping mall nearby, but it closes quite early, and a few restaurants. To get to the city, besides taking the bus, you can also enjoy a fun walk through the canyon and take an elevator up.

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the tram station, making it easy to reach the city center. Overall, this was the best hotel of our entire Europe trip. We would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is not in a lively part of the city, so there are few people around and it is quiet. It takes five minutes to walk to the tram station and about 10 minutes to take the tram to the city center and the train station. Fortunately, the Luxembourg trams and buses are free. I had a wonderful stay that started with Marcus going above and beyond from the minute I walked through the doors. My room was comfortable and clean. It was an easy walk to the T1 tram. The breakfast offered a variety of yummy items and plenty of coffee. I highly recommend and would happily stay here again.

I was impressed by the comfortable and spacious room conditions and the friendly service of the staff.

Very modern, about 30 minutes from the city when you walk to the tram etc. The service was slow, some issues with the air-conditioning unit took a while to fix. I appreciate that they advertise. They have a free bar in the room but it really is a couple of soft drinks. A coffee machine would have been a welcome addition to the room, otherwise the room was comfortable.

Beautiful environment, good service, very clean

For hotels in the suburbs of Luxembourg, there is no charge for public transportation in Luxembourg anyway, so there is no need to worry about location. There is a bar on the first floor, which is quite big. I have to praise the underground parking lot. It is spacious and clean, and parking is so safe.

Very well located and good overall quality. This is my second time at this establishment, and I will probably return. The only negative point this time was that I was asked for a deposit, whereas this wasn't the case the first time 🤔

The hotel was clean and had all the basic amenities. The breakfast buffet was also very good. The location was within walking distance of the airport, which is convenient for people taking morning or evening flights. Public transportation in Luxembourg is generally free, and the bus stops for buses 6 and 16 appear to have changed locations, with the bus stop just before the airport.

Clean and good hotel for your stay in Luxembourg. Just a little far from the city centre but there is a good bus connection within 6 minutes walking distance. Would love to stay again at NH.

It was quite cosy stay just for a night to sleep. Bed is comfortable and same are pillows. Floors have no carpets so sleepers would be a good advantage but they are absent. Shower is clean and nice.

Located just next to the airport. They have 24h check-in service. There is a restaurant and a little kionsk inside the hotel to buy snacks and drinks. Good value for money for a short stay.

Rooms were large and beds were comfortable. We didn’t get the experience the back court room as they were preparing for an event. The front desk young land was very professional and king. Great stop on our journey from Belgium to Bavaria Germany.

The hotel is in a good location with convenient transportation, and there is a bus stop right at the door. The front desk and restaurant service are very good, the room is decorated very warmly, the outdoor restaurant has a beautiful environment, and the Western breakfast is 23 euros per person.

Conveniently located near the bus station, the hotel is really clean, the rooms are very well decorated, the front desk and room service can communicate in German (the check-in manual is available in French, English and German). The continental meals are delicious (there is an ice cream shop and Subway nearby if you are not used to it)

Food is good. Staffs are friendly. Excellent location and clean.

The quality of breakfast was the best. The cleanliness of the accommodation was also perfect. The location is very convenient for exploring the city. It is a wonderful hotel that I would like to use again next time.

Luxembourg in late autumn is truly enchanting 🇱🇺 The hotel has a great location with its own parking lot, making parking very convenient. The service was excellent, the rooms were nice, and most importantly, the restaurants were superb – Gault & Millau is highly recommended ✨

A quaint hotel close to downtown Luxembourg. Very friendly and helpful employees. The bus system is free to use, super convenient. The rooms are well sized and so are the bathrooms. Missing a fridge but otherwise all is well kept, clean and comfortable. The property has limited parking but free parking is just a 3 minute walk away.

Staff were great. Food delicious. No elevator on our side of hotel though and the bathroom layout with the toilet only behind a half wall and curtain was a little too intimate for my taste but maybe other layouts are different. Enjoyed my stay.

Free municipal parking in 1 min , very safe a quiet street, free transportation to the center city in 10 min . Great hotel , great country! I’m in love with Luxembourg ❤️

Very good location from the airport. 2-3 mins away from the train station so you could reach the city center less than 30 mins. The hotel has cozy atmosphere, but no lift and AC. But the Dyson fan was cool enough :)

The hotel staff were all very nice, especially the elderly gentleman who was humorous, witty, and kind. The hotel's decor also had a vintage feel. The location was fantastic, close to the train station, and very convenient for walking and public transportation to attractions. Highly recommended!

After arriving in Brussels and having a few drinks, I suddenly decided to take a spontaneous trip. I booked a single room on Ctrip. After getting off the train, I used Huawei's Petal Navigation app and walked about 200 meters to the destination. The receptionist spoke simple English. The lobby had an antique atmosphere, and the magazines in the lobby were antique, with historical photos of Luxembourg...

The staff is friendly and room is clean. It's a little bit far from public transportation and restaurants.

Nice vintage hotel, walking in the room can be abit noisy due to the wood flooring. Bathroom is small but everything else was good. Do not check in until 2.30pm as it wasn’t allow. Staff is very nice when checking in. Good stay for 1 night.

Room not big, no aircon but there’s a fan. Drinking water, slippers, soap, coffee bag etc no replenishment. Location is good.

Everything was perfect. The room and the lobby were tastefully designed.

The hotel is good at everything. I was worried about the breakfast because of other reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised with it. The room is great, the staff is very nice, the shower is very good, the bed is great - you get the idea. Free parking and accessibility to the center of Luxembourg city makes it perfect.

Nice and quiet hotel in the middle of a residential area. The rooms are spacious but quite dated. One of our superior (!) rooms had a non-working air conditioning, no fun while it was around 30 outside. The breakfast was fine.

We were on our first trip to Luxembourg and this property puts us right in the old town area and allowed us to explore.

Wonderful boutique hotel! Staff were all very friendly, attentive and helpful. Food in the restaurant was very good. Loved the location, right on the edge of “Old Town”. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Clean room, comfortable conditions, walkable into the centre.

The room was beautiful and layout was perfect. Convenient location, close to all core restaurants. The hotel is like an art gallery. You need to have a smaller car if parking on the property due to car height restrictions but public parking garage is very nearby and actually cheaper as well.

The building and room (suite) was lovely, the bed super comfy and all in a perfect location. But, the daily cleaning of the room could have been a bit more thorough. And when we asked for some still water before bed (on the first day there was a bottle in the room), we were sent down to the bar, where we had to buy a bottle for 8euros!!!

Excellent location in the old town This hotel has a very good location in the old parts of Luxembourg. The room was excellent, clean and quiet. The restaurant is good and the staff was very helpful

The room was spacious and comfortable, and they even provided complimentary bottled water – everything was great. While the hotel is a bit far from the city center and there aren't many dining options nearby, Luxembourg's public transportation is free, making it super easy to get downtown. It's a very convenient choice for families, highly recommend!

Near to city center and walkable distance, tram station is very near 2 mins walkable distance. Good place to have some pics at Luxembourg statue pics.

Very old amenities. Broken blinds, broken wardrobe doors, not enough pillows and towels. No basic amenities like body lotion or conditioner.

Very nice hotel, they stole my daughter’s heart by gifting her a small teddy bear and some things to colour. They stole my heart by installing water taps in the hallway that has sparkling water, ice cold water or just still water. However, since breakfast is overpriced, we went to a bakery 150m from the hotel. And that’s how my husband’s heart got stolen. So yeah, we lived happily ever after.

Clean, pleasant, location is a 2min walk to tram station and very convenient.

Excellent hotel. Easy access with T1 tram from airport or city. Big room. Clean. Definitely will book again if come to Luxembourg.
