Cannot fault this hotel. Doesn't pretend it's something it's not - does exactly what it says on the tin and more. Advertised as a 3 star however I've stayed in 4 and supposed 5 stars that weren't as good. The fact that it is in a venue with an Olympic swimming pool is pretty cool too. The rooms are spacious - high ceilings with lots of room to manoeuvre. Not cramped in any way. Mini fridge and lots of storage and hanging space available. The walk in shower was also sizeable. The rooms are a bit out of the way and are a decent walk from reception and the restaurant, however if like me you like to get your steps in, it's no issue. I heard zero noise from any other room - perhaps a first at a hotel for me. Accessing the hotel chambers outside of normal hours is a bit of a faff - make sure you clarify this aspect when checking in. The breakfast is adequate; pastries, cooked items, a variety of breads, cured meats, fruit, yoghurt, cereal and oatmeal variants (muesli, granola etc.), however more variety would be nice. Location wise there is a tram stop right outside that takes you to both the main city and the airport, which suited my needs perfectly. There are a few restaurants a short walk in either direction once you exit the hotel along John F. Kennedy Avenue. I've given the hotel a 5 star review because it gets all the basics right and went above and beyond my expectations, all for a very reasonable price.

A pleasant surprise, very good value for money. Don't forget to bring a swimming set!

Hotel calme et charmant situé au Kirchberg faisant partie du complexe sportif de la Coque où régulièrement se produisent des stars dans la salle multisport qui peut être aménagée et salle de concert. L'hotel est situé à 2 minutes en voiture de la Philharmonie, du Centre Européen et 5 minutes en voiture du centre ville de Luxembourg. Chambre à deux lits simples, spacieuses et très propres, salle de bain avec sèche cheveux, accès wifi gratuit, télévision écran plat, 2 coffres-fort par chambre, accès gratuit au centre aquatique et petit-déjeuner buffet compris dans le tarif de la chambre au restaurant La Perla avec vue sur la piscine olympique en prime... Prix raisonnables pour le Luxembourg et forfait parking 24 heures pour 12 €. Petit bémol l'hotel n'est pas facile à trouver du premier coup car pas assez indiqué. Le personnel est agréable toujours prêt à aider. Bedrooms with two single beds, spacious and very clean, bathroom with hairdryer, free wireless internet, flat TV screen, 2 safes per room, complimentary access to the aquatic center and breakfast buffet included in the room rate served at La Perla restaurant with a view of the Olympic swimming pool in prime ... Reasonable prices for Luxembourg and parking 24 hours for € 12. Small downside, the hotel is not easy to find the first time you come because there are not enought signs to mentionned it. The Hotel was perfect for my purpose meaning, I needed at nice place to sleep and not spend time. The room was large and nice. Tea & Coffee and a kettle was at free disposal. Nice and friendly staff who managed to check me in even though I had forgotten my passport, but agreed to do it anyway If I could send it via e-mail later that day (Nice, flexible and understanding). I would arrive late, and the receptionist was so kind showing me the door where I could enter during late ours and also took me to my room. Good service :-). Do not expect the Hotel to be like a traditional Hotel, since it is located in a Sports Arena and the rooms are situated below ground level, This does not mean that there are no windows, you have and they are large, but you won't get any stunning views. Another thing is that when you have to get to the Breakfast, you will have to walk in some concrete corridors (Sounds worse than it actually is), but when you get to the place where the nice breakfast is served, it is really pleasant and bright. Included in the room there is also access to the Pool area of the Coque. This is not a "Dingy" little Hotel pool, but a full size swimming complex (Also open to the Public), so don't forget your swim suit if you decide to stay here. So, If you plan a trip to Luxembourg and don't need something romantic or cozy since you anyway plan on exploring the town, this is a perfect place. You also have the benefit of having several buses almost right outside the door, and any bus that stops there will take you to town.

Very comfortable hotel and great for a one night stay. Good service from staff. Clean. Nice room and everything you need in the room includes toilettries. easy access to the tram to go to the city. Lovely breakfast too.
