Langkawi Lagoon Resort Private Unit in Pantai Tengah

Scary place. Very poor maintenance. Place is falling apart. So many bats flying at night you had to take cover. The view is amazing but the homes are in horrible condition. You do not have access to the OmBak resort pool next door and they will
Kick you out as they did with is. You can only use the Langkawi Hotel pool which is in deep repair when we were there. I noticed so
E reviews showed the other pool which is not correct. Breakfast at the Hotel was OK and 20rM. Breakfast at the ombak resort is 50rm each and was horrible.

We booked a Water Chalet at Langkawi Lagoon Resort and it was absolutely awful. The photos online are completely misleading. There is no pool, and everything in the chalet is either broken, dirty, or badly maintained. When we arrived, there was trash in the room and the place felt abandoned and unhygienic.

We immediately asked for a refund, but the staff refused and were not helpful at all. This place should not be available for booking. It is nothing like what is shown online, and it feels like a scam. I really hope Booking.com or other platforms take this listing down.

Avoid this place at all costs.

Units around this rental are falling apart and rotting. The whole area is run down and needs to be taken down. Lagoon is brown and ugly and is very low around villa. Just wet mud mostly, and not anything to walk to, not a good location. I do not recommend, we had roaches in our room, and they were not small. We tried, but sadly left after one day...I really don't like to give bad reviews, after 9 months of travel I have to😢

DON'T STAY HERE!! The hotel did not look like the photos. The walls and roof is falling apart. It said that there should be 3 restaurant but there was only 2 open. One opened early the other one did not open until 3 pm. They told us when we checked in that breakfast in the room was available, no extra charge, (breakfast buffet was included in room charge) so we filled in the paper with what kind of breakfast we wanted. 1 hour later they called us and said it was not possible with breakfast in the room anymore. The first room we got had a hole in the floor down to the ocean and broken window so cokroaches and gecko had "free" way in to our room. We told our complains to them and they gave us a new room. This was larger and overall better quality but it had spiderweb in every corner and also had a whole in the bathroom window. It said in the description the they had their own private beach, and they did have a private beach but you could not use it. There was trash all over it and it was all really disgusting mud, you see it when the water went back. We should have stayed 6 nights but checked out after 3. We payed 680 MYR per night and this was not even close to worth it. I would never recommend this.

Very old but located on a good place . There is no facilities also, no internet connection and it is cash only
