PARKROYAL Penang Resort in Batu Ferringhi

Love the room and amenities in the hotel. Will definitely come back for the sea breeze staycation. The overall service was okay just that i hope the waitress in the cafe in-front of the reception is more alert and available as we waited for quite long before we get served.

Nestled on Batu Ferringhi Beach, this hotel boasts expansive pools, a private beach, and comprehensive family-friendly facilities, making it ideal for families and those seeking relaxation. The hotel has a distinct resort vibe, but its location is a bit far from the city center, requiring a taxi to get to George Town. If you're looking to enjoy the sun and beach rather than walking tours, this is a perfect choice.

We were lucky enough to get an upgrade to a family room, giving the kids their own beds. It was very spacious and we were extremely satisfied!

The resort offers a wide array of activities; we stayed for three days and participated in quite a few of them.

I booked this hotel blind, and compared to Shangri-La Rasa Sayang, I'd definitely recommend Parkroyal instead – it's superior in every way! First off, they offer welcome drinks and snacks. Secondly, it has a beach directly connected to the sea, and you can just walk straight down from the hotel. Many hotels along this stretch no longer have beach access, like Shangri-La Rasa Sayang. The slides and facilities are also much better than at Rasa Sayang. Lastly, I think the breakfast is excellent, definitely better than at Rasa Sayaang.

Check-in was super fast, and the staff proactively helped with our luggage. Breakfast was abundant!

Beach access is easily accessible and it’s a perfect spot for healing and unwinding. Away from traffic, it gives you real peace of mind and a strong connection with nature. If you’re a nature lover, you’ll definitely fall in love with this location. Breakfast has a wide variety of options. Front office customer service is just okay, and overall customer service is okay as well. The bellmen are good and helpful. There’s a bar where you can enjoy a beautiful sunset, and the hotel itself offers many activities to keep you engaged throughout your stay.

We stayed 1 night at PARKROYAL Penang for our honeymoon, and the experience was truly amazing from start to finish.

The hotel upgraded us to a Family Deluxe Sea-Facing Room with garden access, which made our stay extra special and comfortable. During check-in, we were warmly welcomed with fresh flowers and welcome drinks, which immediately set a lovely tone for our honeymoon.

When we entered the room, we were so happy to see beautiful honeymoon towel arrangements with chocolates,such a thoughtful and romantic touch that made us feel celebrated as newlyweds.

One of the best parts of this hotel is that it has direct access to the beach. We had dinner by the beach at Gustoso, and the experience was amazing. The atmosphere was romantic and relaxing, and the food was really good, which made our evening even more memorable.

Breakfast was really good with plenty of choices, and the overall environment of the hotel is stunning, beautiful surroundings, peaceful vibes, and perfect for couples.

Had a really nice stay. Staff were super friendly and welcoming, and the overall vibe of the hotel was great. We also got a free upgrade to a seaview room, which was a really nice surprise. Would definitely come back.
