The hotel boasts four swimming pools and is conveniently located close to the beach. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and while the facilities are a bit dated, they are impeccably clean. The breakfast offers a rich variety of options, and the restaurant and front desk staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and it's about a 10-minute walk to Batu Ferringhi Beach and the night market. Highly recommended for families with children!

I'd say the value for money is decent. The room and views were both good. We didn't book breakfast, and the restaurants across the street seemed like local eateries, with many not open in the mornings, so we just bought instant noodles from the supermarket on our second day. It's quite close to the popular beach, and the swimming pool service was good. The housekeeping staff were also very polite and delivered things promptly. However, the only issue was that on the first day, there were no small towels in the room, and on the second day, there were no large towels, which is quite unacceptable. Also, the hotel beer is very expensive at 32 MYR a bottle, even more so than at the beach bars.

The hotel is decent, with many food outlets nearby and a very convenient location close to Feringghi Bay.

However, the room feels rather old-school and could use more attention in terms of cleanliness. On the third day of our stay, there was a very unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom. It seemed that the cleaning was not carried out properly, as there was a strong musty odor, almost as if an unclean mop had been used to clean the floor.

The service is non-existent. Housekeeping is nowhere to be found. The towels are black. Toiletries are covered in dust. My skin broke out after sleeping here. Drinking the hotel water caused severe stomach pain and vomiting.

Location is great if you prefer secluded space, beach is just outside the back side. Hotel can look at making the beach condition & cleanliness better. Food options very limited in the vicinity of the hotel. Good view from all most all the hotel rooms.

Nice sunset view, enjoying our holidays in Bayview hotel resort, family room big space.. Kids enjoy the place. Excellent service, cleaning tiptop.

Upon check in- front desk staff was pleasant.
Upon entering the room- floor dusty and there was strands of hair on the floor.
Bath towels- were brownish/ greyish probably due to being used for a super long time.
Sinkhole cover- not there& I have to be cautious not to dropy earrings in the sink, they might just go down and disappear!
The air-conditioning control was not functioning at all, and the room was freezing cold. After we informed the hotel, a technician came to address the issue, but it could not be resolved. Three hours later, another technician came, but the problem remained unsolved.
Bathtub area- when I was soaking in the tub, the mold and stain on the underside of soap dish was noticable. Even more disgusting, I saw there was 'brownish coloured thingy stucked under the rim of the toilet bowl. I wanted to vomit!
Then, at 5+ a.m while we were sleeping, there was a strange sound coming out from the door lock panel. We informed the front desk at 5.35 a.m but a staff told us "give me 10 min" Thinking that she would send the technician up to the room and solve the issue, we waited patiently as the sound was interrupting our sleep. After 10 minutes, a phone call came and the staff asked if we still heard the same noise. This time, we asked them why nobody was helping. Then only at 6.45 a.m, a technician came n resolved the issue. We had to sacrifice our sleep and time waiting for the hotel to address the defect.
Overall, the hotel staffs were helpful and pleasant. However, the hotel is a bit run-down, and the room standard was low.
