Palm Garden in Thoddoo

Just got back from Palm Garden in Thoddoo and honestly, for the price, it’s hard to beat. It’s not a fancy 5-star place but you really get your money’s worth. Room was clean, had 24/7 AC, comfy bed, and we even got daily room cleaning.

Loved having free snorkeling gear, unlimited fresh water, kitchen access, and coffee any time. The owner Adam is a really nice guy, and Roman from the staff was super helpful with everything. For what we paid, I doubt you’ll find a better spot on the island. Would stay again for sure.

Shameem makes the stay enjoyable and goes out of his way to make us very comfortable and enjoy our stay. He is the cook and his food is great.

We stayed at the guest house in August, 2022 and it was great! Our speedboat trip to Thoddoo was a bit frightening because of storm and we didn't expect much of the holidays, but Adam managed to make our vocation wonderful. We booked only bed& breakfast (which was tasty and different every morning), but decided to try dinner as well. I would definitely recommend having dinner in Palm Garden. It is always delicious and Maldivian)) The staff are very friendly, responsible and easy-going and did their best to help us. We had to change our plans and Adam helped us to arrange everything we needed. Moreover, there were some nice surprises while our stay in Palm Garden: my mother and daughter had their birthdays and two big tasty cakes were cooked for them! If we have an opportunity to go to Thoddoo in future , we will stay at Palm Garden again)

Perfect spot! The bed was very comfortable and had plenty of pillows. There was lots of space in the room as well as a little patio that was enclosed and private. Also had a shower out there so you could get the sand off before you went in your room. Adam and the family had everything I needed and a delicious breakfast!

We recommend staying in Palm Garden! Perfect location, close to shops, the beach and the palm path. Adam was a very helpful and caring host.The room was modest, but nothing was missing. We had water refilled every day and the room was clean. A big plus for breakfast, the best variety of choice we had in the Maldives and the most delicious Maldivian breakfast. The price matches the quality.

Very safe place, every room has a tiny garden with seats and shower. Outside is shared open place , great for children. There is a free water from the filtration, no littering. You can have tea, coffee anytime for free. Outside there is a big fan, very comfortable. Everything is very clean. So many places for drying clothes, great for family with children and divers too. Staff is so nice and speak a good English. Maybe this us not the most luxury place but very usefull and comfortable. I felt like at home.

We had a wonderful stay here. Clean room with a balcony which was very useful to dry our clothes and snorkeling equipment safely. Basically if you lock the entrance door, it includes the balcony. So it’s completely private. It has an outdoor shower, which is a big plus.👏 (both indoor and outdoor) Garden was beautiful and breakfast was really tasty everyday. Location is perfect! We will be happy to stay there again!
