I booked The Beach Villa in Ukhulas six months ago and even received a confirmation email.
When I arrived, the hotel was fully booked — unbelievable!
They offered to move me to another hotel for one night and then come back the next day “when a room would be available.”
What a joke!
I decided to stay somewhere else, much more professional.
Luckily, some hotels still had availability!
⚠️ Be careful — this hotel practices overbooking!

We enjoyed our stay very much at Beach Villa Ukulhas !
We were greeted by Chiko and his wife who were super nice and proactive, the food is good, the rooms are clean and the guesthouse is very well located.
We took a private jet ski tour to see Manta rays and turtles which was an amazing experience.
We can't wait to visit again !

Ukulhas has a beautiful long bikini beach, many restaurants and small shops to shop. I recommend the West Sands Hotel - really great. There is a lot of construction work on the island at the moment but I would say it will be great in a few weeks. It is a local island but you have a large selection of services that you don't have on a hotel island. On the reef next to the jetty there are lots of sharks - big and small - and turtles when snorkeling - really great.

Great room, more like a bungalow with a private garden.
The location is perfect in Ukulhas with the beach just a few steps away and some juice bars on location.
Very friendly and professional owner. A must if you want to experience the low key island life.

Perfect in every way. Ismail is a perfect host, who meets all expectations, is very accommodating. The hotel is perfect, the room is impeccable, the bedding is very good, the location perfect, the size is correct. I will definitely come back. For me the best value for money in Ukulhas. Thank you Ismail

The room is large, the bedding was good, but the bathroom could use some updating. Remember, you're staying in a local B&B, so don't expect a hotel. The host is helpful and friendly. The musty smell is due to the humidity in the air and fades with the air conditioning.

A wooden bungalow right in front of Bikini Beach. With many tropical plants, it's a bonus to have privacy!
Especially, this place has lovely and friendly host Ismail, which makes me want to go again.
As well as booking round-trip speedboat tickets between the airport and Ukulhas, I was able to quickly get information on snorkel points of sharks and turtles, low tide/high tide time schedules, and various excursions.
Especially during Holiday in the Maldives, even though it was hard to get life jackets due to the large number of locals, he found it for us for more than half a day, making our snorkeling safer and more enjoyable.
At around 8 p.m., he asks what to eat among the five menus, and when we decides on the breakfast and sends it, he prepares a hearty breakfast the next day at the time we want.
And If you apply every day, they can clean your room.
If you go to Ukulhas, go to Beach Villa~

Ismail is super friendly and helpful host. He has good attitude, responds quickly and helped us with everything we needed.
Beach Villas are perfectly located just a few steps from good beach on the island. The room little private gardens make you feel nice and fit perfectly the theme of Ukulhas. Rooms are good for Island standard and you can definitely enjoy your time here. Recommended !

Mr Ismail is an extremely dedicated person who is working very hard at Beach Villas Ukulhas to facilitate the guests/tourists in the best possible manner. Be assure that he won’t let you feel out of home while your stay with him!

We spent 10 nights here. We were treated kindly by Chiko and Tati as well as by Ismail. Maldivian breakfast was so tasty. People in the island are very friendly. The beach and the barrier reef were amazing!
