Nothing was too much trouble, and they assisted us with every request, making us feel genuinely well looked after throughout. The island itself is an absolute gem, wonderfully authentic, with a wild, untouched feel

Owners were very very nice and accommodating. Everything was closed on the island. But they made sure we could get 3 meals a day

Which was the best food on the island!! Best Wi-Fi speed in the Maldives also! Rooms are clean and cozy

Good guesthouse, the location is the closest to the beach. the room is large, a large double bed, clean fresh linens and towels, there is hot water (flowing). Maldivian or continental breakfast.

Special thanks to the chef Rasidhil: the dishes were delicious and various, the portions were so huge that we were risking to gain weight😅 As for the guest house itself: a very convenient location, clean rooms, free bicycles

Whenever we had questions, he helped us immediately 🥹 And of course the wonderful Lady who greeted us with a big smile every day and helped with everything 🩷 Breakfasts and dinners delicious (I definitely recommend local meals) The hotel is very close to a beautiful beach, the road to the beach is also amazing

From the very beginning, the staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating. Even before we arrived, they proactively shared all the details on how to get from the other island to the hotel

Beautiful place, excellent service, very clean, daily cleaning, great guesthouse and his manager Imma A wonderful island without resorts only with local residents, from Male you can sail 1 hour speedboat, by the beaches there is a coral reef with turtles, manta rays and reef sharks, completely harmless

Make sure you have loads of bug spray but I will most definitely go back. Lovely clean beaches and loads of fresh fruit

We highly reccomand to stay in the amazing Thoddoo Retreat Guesthouse! You have to know, the it'a local Island and no Resort! We had the best time with the owners, they are perfect hosts! They are very friendly, they help you with anything, they organized the transport, they offer great excursions, the room was big with a modern hot rainshower, air condition, fridge, every day fresh towels and cleaning...

The food is very basic but here’s loads of local restaurants in the area. The only thing that bothered me was the mosquitos in the area. I was bitten to so much I contracted septicaemia and ended up in hospital

We stayed here for 8 nights and liked our stay there. The beach is really nice - a shame that we had some rainy days there

Location is very good. Room is clean. Staff is nice. Breakfast is good and different. Just bunches of mosquito s...ks a little. Ukulhas island is good and this guesthouse have reasonable prices comparing with others.

We got our food every day on the balcony delivered that was really nice and a good service. All in total the three guys that are working there are super friendly and tried to make our stay as good as possible

(beginning of november) The internet of the guesthouse was really slowly and sometimes didn't work at all. The room was very big and had also a big double bed

Average location on the island, it is far to bikini beach with very limited swimming and snorkeling options. Lots of sea grass in the ocean there. most likely because there is lots of agriculture

In the 2 weeks we did snorkelling with mantarays, turtles, sharks and a boat trip with dolphins! There is a local boat that can take you to the other islands which is a great way to spend a day as the beaches are gorgeous on Fehuldhoo! We did have some mould in our room just as a side note about one thing we would change, but bar that it was great, thank you so much for the stay! A speed boat will...

Breakfast is simple do try hedika in the local cafe during the afternoon or buy some snacks in the local grocery store ! The walk to the beach is quite long take a bike or get a lift

If you want off the beaten track and local guest house experience you cannot beat this place ! Jordy and his team are a great combination of friendless and so helpful in day to day planning from Kayaking to taking a speed boat out they were really good

My room was great had everything I wanted although missed a fridge but got by ! I would highly recommend a stay here if you’re looking for a local island in the Maldives ! Thank you for a lovely stay

The food is simple and local and I had the best fresh fish for dinner one evening which was a real pleasure

Location is great, a few meters from the public beach and about 5 min walk to tue bikini beach. Beautiful reef, lots of dolphins, tortoise, sharks and incredible corals and fish

We were super good!, the best value for money! The manager, Yaissir, is very attentive and answers very quickly to any questions or problems you may have, not only in the hotel, anything on the island: he helps you

Excursions were simply amazing and lunch of desert islands is really recommended. Thanks to the manager Mohammed, the excursion leader Hussain, The capitan and all tue staff for making our holiday so incredible! !

They are all very good people and attentive, and transmit a lot of confidence and tranquility. The room, always clean, is not small, is very comfortable, and the bathroom is very large and comfortable

The beach area is hardly 3-4 mins walk from the Ukulhas Beach Inn villa, which makes the location even more attractive. Highly Recommended for tourists and solo travellers!!

We told them that we are vegetarian so they cooked special veggies for us in the breakfast next day. They also provide snorkeling gears for us. Overall we had a great experience and comfortable stay

They think of the environment and try and help to get the island more and more clean. The houseriff is beautiful aswell. We could see the sunset and the sunrise from their beach (January)

The island is very peaceful and has a nice bikini beach, however we've found that the best and most convenient snorkeling spot is right in front of the property

The hospitality of Fato and Fatima was amazing. The Staff extremely friendly and helpfull. I loved the seating area for Breakfast, lunch and dinner

I just returned from Hagamendooo Island and stayed at the Ocean Beach Inn. My husband and I had been to the Maldives exactly 20 years ago and we wanted to try a guest house (not without some hesitation when booking)

You get to experience how the locals live while still enjoying a lovely tourist area, with the Bikini Beach just a few minutes away for a refreshing swim

Moreover, there were some nice surprises while our stay in Palm Garden: my mother and daughter had their birthdays and two big tasty cakes were cooked for them! If we have an opportunity to go to Thoddoo in future , we will stay at Palm Garden again)

We stayed at the guest house in August, 2022 and it was great! Our speedboat trip to Thoddoo was a bit frightening because of storm and we didn't expect much of the holidays, but Adam managed to make our vocation wonderful

It is always delicious and Maldivian)) The staff are very friendly, responsible and easy-going and did their best to help us. We had to change our plans and Adam helped us to arrange everything we needed

Room was clean, had 24/7 AC, comfy bed, and we even got daily room cleaning. Loved having free snorkeling gear, unlimited fresh water, kitchen access, and coffee any time

We booked only bed& breakfast (which was tasty and different every morning), but decided to try dinner as well. I would definitely recommend having dinner in Palm Garden

The owner Adam is a really nice guy, and Roman from the staff was super helpful with everything. For what we paid, I doubt you’ll find a better spot on the island

Enjoyed both water villa and beach villa. View at the water villa is magnificent. Option of American, Indian, Italian food available. Island is so serene and beautiful

Must visit once in a life time to enjoy the pleasure of living in 🏝️. Service and Vehicle organisation are too good. Events and private dining are need to be planned with reception person at the early reach of island

I hope we can book accommodation with you again next year! We have tried some accommodations in the Maldives, and we found the Belmar Beach Hotel (formerly Paguro Hotel) to be the best among the local islands so far

This was our first Maldivian experience - and we couldn’t have asked for a better one! The staff, the food, the rooms were all excellent

Beautiful place right on the bikini beach, staff is very nice and the hotel manager is very friendly, some of the rooms open directly to the beach, some have terraces with sea view

Their organized excursions are highly recommended; you can go with 2-4 people and enjoy the experience to the fullest. There's a great reef to explore alone, just a few meters from the beach

An excellent choice for experiencing the Maldives away from crowded and chaotic resorts or guesthouses. The Belmar Beach team makes you feel at home and is available for anything

Since the island is currently relatively unpopular (there are no bars or anything else), the Bikini Beach is practically reserved exclusively for Belmar guests

A modest room with wooden doors. Small windows although the doors open up to a balcony so you potentially could stay here with the doors open during the day

The breakfast is also amazing, fresh fruits, toast, jam, eggs all cooked to order! Ultimately a great place to stay and base ourselves for 24 hours of exploring Maldives

We enjoyed our stay in Maldives here! The staff were extremely friendly and keen to have fun with us and made us feel very much at home. Our room was an extremely comfortable place to stay

Rooms are clean and furniture also looks new although the room is quite small. Suitable for backpackers stay. Staff are friendly and shows good hospitality. There is no elevator however and the staircase is a bit narrow.

The rooms are big enough and clean. There is a small fridge in the room. Wifi is free and while sometimes connection is a little spotty it is generally sufficient to watch Netflix or Youtube in reasonable quality

Just returned from a 9-night all inclusive stay at Equator Village. Once you acclimatise and pull round from your outbound treck (our treck was 26-hrs and 4-flights) you can begin to relax / enjoy your surroundings

Hotel is on an ex RAF base but the layout etc is good / easy to find your way round. Rooms are a good size with good amenities (one slight criticism would be a lack of wardrobe space)

I spent 4 nights here and thoroughly enjoyed my time. My rooms are very clean, with great A/C. All the staff were friendly and the water access (pool and beach) were great

cocktails were decent and if you want a change you can buy a large range at a reasonable price (another slight criticism would be during our stay they did not have any tomato juice for a Bloody Mary which I like starting the day with)

All bar staff were very friendly / chatty / professional (Harry was the one that stood out). One slight criticism would be the pool bar was only open on 2-occasions during our stay

We were one of only three sets of guests staying at this large resort. It's the beginning of the wet season and start of European summer so patronage is low at this time of year

Any where on the island is so beautiful , our room was 5 steps to the beach , they had a badminton court where we played volley ball badminton and more, the bartenders where very friendly and by the end of our stay they had practically known our drink orders

The resort was very well maintained, delicious buffet styled food and every night is a different cuisine. Personally my favourites where Mongolian night, Western night and Italian night but they where all so delicious

The staff where so friendly and kind a special thanks to Ravindra , our very kind and funny sever for meal times and Ali our room cleaner who came everyday to clean the room for us

Embudu Village is defiantly one to remember and we truly thank you guys for being so kind corruptive and caring! We will definitely be coming back! Thank You So Much!!!

The room was okay but could be better maintained. The marine life was so cool, both in and out of the reef. Our room was on the same side as the deck and bar, and it was always calm

My family and I went to Embudu Village and had the absolute best time! So many fun opportunities and activities for us to do

Spectacular is an understatement. We spent 3 nights on this wonderful island and stayed in a villa with an infinity pool. The villa we stayed in (331) was a bit larger than the others and was on the sunset side

It had a living room/entrance hall, a bedroom, a bathroom with a bathtub and both indoor and outdoor showers, plus the terrace with the pool. Everything was very spacious (over 100m2) and super clean

The bed linens, the faucets, and everything else were spotless. The pool is very well maintained, with a clean bottom and crystal-clear water

The all inclusive package is definitely a big perks! Allows you to drink and eat while you are there. The island is massive with a long bridge. The Chinese restaurant LI BAI is serving amazing Chinese food

We also tried the Italian restaurant! Equally amazing. Highly recommended if you ever comes to the Maldives. We only stayed there for one night but really enjoyed our stay!

The best pool bar is undoubtedly the Beach Club at Falhumaafushi, but the one at Dhigurah has a wider variety of cocktails

It was clean and cozy, and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. I loved the Maldivian breakfast (tuna and flatbreads). The room had two showers, and I really liked the outdoor shower—it was exotic

Honestly, I loved my stay at Ras Rana Lodge! The atmosphere is really nice, and the staff are incredibly kind and always ready to help. The room was spotless and very comfortable

They also arrange private dinner on beach or on sand bank. Perfect for any occasions!!! On Rashdoo island there are 3 restaurant. Lemon Drop has got good taste. ATM is also easily accessible from ras village

The location is perfect, everything is easy to reach, especially the beach. Big highlight for the activities, especially snorkeling! I highly recommend it 😊

If you want over the water villas (that are btw constructed and fully outfitted in China or Borneo and imported whole on barges and just bolted onto concrete pylons once they arrive) spas, gyms, swimming pools and imported exotic fruits, farmed seafoods, decadent French cheese platters etc (which all go hand in hand btw with coral damaged by construction and larger numbers of tourists resulting in...

The whole experience was very positive the tents are very comfortable with air con propper beds. Coffee making facilities and a mini bar. The food was exceptionally good and the staff were friendly and helpful

I balked at such a request and asked to either have the "refresher dive" at extra no cost from the beach or to have an honest-to-God dive somewhere else (given that I go snorkeling on the house reef every day) with the initial part dedicated to the exercises

My wife and I are spending 10 nights at Maverick. So far we had a really pleasant stay, despite a hiccup that could have derailed our vacation but that was promptly solved

No water villa or pool nonsense. The staff is very attentive and courteous and the restaurant food, albeit limited in selection, is really very good

I tend to think that being a new hotel and a new dive center they probably still have to work some of their kinks out, but I must say that I really appreciated the effort the management and the staff has put to provide us with the best possible experience throughout our vacation

Aveyla hotel and Liquid Salt Divers are a perfect pair, if you love manta rays, you won't need to look for a better combination, you sleep almost on the beach and when the manta rays appear in Hanifaru Bay, the LSD center takes you to them in the blink of an eye:)) If you want to dive, that's no problem either, I highly recommend it😎💚

We received great service and during one dinner they even played Swedish music for us 😀 The rooms had everything you need and it’s a great place to stay if you want to dive since they work with Liquid Salt Divers

We had a fantastic stay at Aveyla Manta Village. The location is unbeatable, right on a beautiful beach and just a short boat ride from Hanifaru Bay for the incredible manta ray experience

The bed was very comfortable and the rooms were always kept clean. We also went snorkelling on our first day and were amazed by the beautiful marine life and clean beach
