Pretty average accommodation. The room we had, with the private bathroom, smelled pretty musty, and the whole place was pretty cold overall (we were there in December, but not even the AC helped heat it up). Even though they said (in the rulers of the place) that they'll come clean up the room only on Wednesday and only if you leave your door open, the lady went into our rooms without our knowledge when we were gone. Surely she went in there only to clean the room, but we would like to know about it in advance and definitely we would like to have the possibility "without service". The breakfast is included in the price, but it consists of toast bread, cheese, ham, and some store bought pastries, so if you plan on staying longer, don't count on enjoying your breakfast. We chose it because it was close to Mdina, but that's basically all there is. Sure, it was clean and fridge, and tea kettle is in the room.

On the first day when we arrived, there was no electricity until the next day. Later we came back from dinner, we couldn't get in (the door was lock) since the power was cut off, so we had to call the owner.
The worst part was that the entire day and night had no electricity, and you can imagine how hot it was in our room. We couldn't sleep the whole night. On top of that, our B&B only had HOT WATER for the shower (very hot water)! So, we had to shower with hot water and stay in a hot room. It was traumatising! Also, when we checked in, one of the employees said we had to pay for the air conditioner, which works with a top-up card. When we booked the room, they never mentioned anything about this. However, later, after we complained about the electricity and all that, the owner gave us an aircon top-up card for free. But until we checked out, we had to shower with hot water. Oh btw it was 41 degree outside!

Great location- very clean and comfortable-walking distance to a very good selection of restaurants and cafes. Close to Mdina and the Catacombs. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very close to public transport. The locals are very friendly.

Can't be specific about the sizes of the rooms as price is a determining factor here. But will definitely say they are clean, equipped and comfortable.
Breakfast is included in room rates and they are very good.
The lady at the front desk who practically attendees to all your inquiries handles every thing and assures your comfort .
Always smiling and open minded.
Enjoyed my stay. " air-conditioning are paid for "

A family owned and run guesthouse in the quaint village of Rabat, minutes away from the old capital Mdina and the greener more rural part of the island. Great as a launching pad for anyone looking at exploring the Northern bits of Malta too.

When I booked this place, I was a little unsure about the shared bathroom. However, budget being what it is, I ended up giving it a try based on the great ratings.
Bathroom was pristine, Theresa and Pauline were awesome and I'd gladly come back to give Mdina a longer tour when I visit Malta again.

Coronacrisis. Flights cancelled, Government lockdown and these people have the nerve to charge 50% cancellation fee! This is what moral corruption and unprofessionalism looks like. Shout out to booking.com though, they helped out here and acted responsibly and professionally. Edit (Reply): Without booking com intervening, I strongly doubt I'd have seen any refund. They should rather be shocked by how they treat a customer.

Good value for money. 15 minutes walk from Mdina. Old world charm of wood and marble interior, like 18th century. Nice clean bathroom & toilet. Kitchen and roof terrace available. Only drawback was shared bathroom, but owner told me they would be refurbishing and putting in en-suite facilities. Very friendly and helpful.
