Me and my wife had a wonderful experience at the hotel in occasion of her birthday. There was a lot of activities and we also got to relax at the spa and hamam. Special thanks to the spa team and reception team as well as Abhirav, Rama, Joseph & Girish. Also thanks to the activities supervisor who performed first aid on me due to a misfortune while swimming.

A really great boutique hotel to relax in. The grounds of the hotel are immaculately maintained and the rooms are luxurious and spacious. The staff are so friendly and polite and make your stay easy. You need a car or taxis if you want to venture out. But the hotel is perfect to completely switch off from the outside world. The restaurant setting overlooks the beach and is lovely. Dinners are a little formal but tasty. Thank you so much to all the Sea diamond staff especially Diana, Enzo and the restaurant team, as well as the charming GM. We loved meeting you all and making our stay so special!

First of all, I would like to start with the positive aspects of this hotel, there are two of them - beautiful and well-kept territory, as well as a beautiful interior in the room and delicious food from the menu at dinner.
That's where the pluses end.
This was our third hotel on the island in this category and therefore there is something to compare with. The most unfortunate place in terms of service level.
Of course, if you are an unpretentious vacationer, then this place will do.
It seemed to us that the matter is in the extremely low organization of management processes within the hotel and savings on everything.
There are capsules and a coffee machine in the room, which are paid (only two coffee capsules are free for the entire stay).
All drinks at dinner are paid, even water.
The food is delicious, but in addition to this, it is important to note that at dinner many times we had to wait for food for two hours. We expressed our dissatisfaction repeatedly and are not ready to sit in the dining room for two hours, since we have work and we are very limited in time. Probably, the cook simply cannot cope with preparing such a quantity of food for such a occupancy of the hotel. Some people simply got up and left without waiting for dessert. This is extreme disrespect for guests.
In the first days, we noticed that shampoos, shower gels and other items were not replenished after cleaning, we asked the reception to take action, but only after a written complaint they took action and began to monitor the cleaning more closely. Thank you for the prompt response, we are glad that the hotel reacts and listens.
Probably, I would recommend taking this hotel initially without meals, or only breakfasts.
The hotel provides free kayaks, a catamaran on which you can swim along the beach, a hamam.
There is a tea break (afternoon snack): the first day is free, then 350 rupees per day.
The staff is friendly and eager to help, but you need to work quickly and clearly right away so that the guest does not have an unpleasant impression.

The overall service is good, except the waiters in the restaurant would never provide for the things u ask, e.g tomato sauce, ice, an additional plate,etc.
For the half board, the restaurant will change the menu everyday n u can choose 1 starter, 1 main course , 1 dessert amongst the 2 or 3 choices.
The room is very spacious n clean, comfy bed but the layout is no good.
It is strange to have the bed in the middle of the room with the bath tub, wash basin n toilet surrounding the bed.
But the cpu value is high compared with lots of other hotels in Mauritius. The room with jacuzzi is recommended

The stay was totally enjoyable from beginning to end. The entire staff was friendly, helpful, nice to us, we felt like we were unique every day. The location of the hotel is great, the room super big and super beautiful. The breakfast as well as the dinner are super good.

Stunning looking resort, welcoming, great signage.

The beach is phenomenal, great view, very clean

Great food at restaurant with shows every night. Beautiful sea view, so relaxing. Good service.

Rooms :
When we entered our room for the 1st time, there was no electricity. We informed reception and they never brought anyone to fix. We fixed it ourselves.
The rooms are not as beautiful as the outside. The rooms do not deserve 4-star status. Very thin walls, you can clearly hear the person next door like she was in your room.
The bathroom is old and not maintained, no silicone on the tiles (insects going inside holes), no shower curtain.
The mini bar empty compared to the menu list.
No bin in room
No bed side lamp
Strange smell in rooms

Restaurant :
Flies infesting the fruits due to the lack of nets or anyone to monitor
Birds, pigeons cats entering the restaurant, birds eating in your plate, pooping on you while you're eating, flying over your table, very unhygienic. Staff not concerned about it.
No toaster for your bread.

At the pool side, after rain, on all days we were there, nobody came to dust the lounges of water.

No gym
