I had a wonderful five-night stay with my family! The property was exceptionally clean and the staff were incredibly welcoming. What makes this place even better is the location—it is very close to the sea and surrounded by everything you need. Having a hypermarket, shops, and bus stops nearby made getting around so easy. I especially loved being so close to a bakery for fresh breakfast every morning. Highly recommended for a convenient and satisfying stay!

We booked 3 nights at this hotel but ended up staying only one. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The room was not clean at all – everything felt sticky to the touch, which was very uncomfortable. There were even dead cockroaches on the floor, and the overall smell in the room was really unpleasant. We decided to leave after the first night because it did not feel hygienic or acceptable. Would not recommend based on our experience.

We have stayed at Monalysa for two times in the apartment which is very clean. The girls are very pleasant and very kind. They advise you and organize outings. It is very well located in Grand Bay.

I looked for cleanliness, security, good amenities(basic kitchen utensils & cultery), good location(Next to Super U, close to several restaurants, some 10mins to Church) They also offer touring, but unfortunately I'll catch up next time. All of these met.

We stayed their for 11 nights-17 to 28 May. Staff and Mr Eric all were nice. Location is very good, 2 min from Super U mall, MacDonald's, KFC, Happy Rajah near by. Bus stand and taxis are 2 min walk. We booked studio with kitchen there, everything was good only I wish they checked room properly before we arrived. The water tap was very old got broken first day, they offered new room but we denied, next morning we got new tap, fridge door was not closing but they solved it immediately. Rest is ok, they helped me for all information I wanted, even gave me umbrella during rain one day. Staff was always smiling and helpful. Hope to see U guys again with family.

I went at this restaurant at 21 hrs today. I have never ever been dissappointed with such food which were served. We went there three persons and I order a Gratin Fruits de Mer, a Bol Renversé and a Mine Frite Speciale ... The Mine Frite was thick and very salty ,,, the Bol Renversé was completely salty and the Beef tasted like salted beef which was fried and the Gratin de Fruits de Mer was liquid ... I ate so many Gratin in different restaurants and I know them to be dry with a sprinkle biscuit and cheese and oven-baked ... the one served there was a liquid one not even oven-baked ... All three of us were schoked and disgusted and we call on the lady responsible who explained that it was good beef on the Bol Renversé and that the Gratin she said ,,, "I sold one like this earlier ... i can show you the receipt ,,, the customers were happy .
On my side , all three of us were unhappy and we prefered to pay and leave after explaining that the food were not eatable. The note for the food and one bottle of water was Rs.1,185- .
Now, No Cards ,,, we had to go to an ATM to cash out some money and came back to pay the note. Completely dissappointed we will never recommend anyone at this place. I will say prefer choose another place on Grand Bay rather go there. Never ever I will go to that place. I told the lady responsible that I was going to publish a note on what happened and she seemed not affected it was the money that was more important to her ... as if once you paid , go and do whatever you want ... no problem for her. May be this is why the place was empty since our arrival and till our departure ...
