Just one word sums up this hotel and destination and that is PARADISE!!!
We have had the most amazing holiday here. The staff are fabulous they cannot do enough for you. The hotel has 5 different restaurants, Indian, Mauritian, Thai, Beach Restaurant and the main Buffet and the food was fantastic. The entertainment was fantastic. Everything from Aqua Gymn, water Polo Children's activities throughout the day and fantastic evening entertainment 😀 We will be going back .

We are from Mauritius and recently stayed at Hotel Zilwa for the first time. Unfortunately, our experience was not as smooth as we had hoped. We had to wait over 45 minutes to check in, even though the hotel wasn’t busy at the time. Once we were taken to our room, we received no information about the hotel’s activities or restaurants.
Our luggage was not brought to our room as expected; after calling reception, we discovered it had been sent to another room. Later, when we wanted to enjoy a coffee in our room, we were informed that we needed to collect it from the boutique—information that would have been helpful to know earlier.
Additionally, an unexpected charge of 400 MUR was added to our bill for a “contribution,”however it was removed and a special birthday request for my husband was completely forgotten. While they tried to catch up while we were at the lounge before going back to our room, the welcome and greeting felt lacking, and we noticed that foreign guests were treated differently.
On a positive note, the hotel itself is beautiful, the rooms are nice, and there are plenty of activities available. The dinner was excellent, and breakfast was very enjoyable. However, without proper guidance or information, it was difficult to make the most of our stay

My birthday celebration on 22nd February 2026 at Zilwa Attitude Hotel was nothing short of amazing. Everything was beautifully organised, and from the very moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and kindness. The entire experience felt special, thoughtful, and unforgettable.

This was an absolutely beautiful hotel. The staff were super friendly and extremely helpful. Especially, Vishwesh, Raamiz, and Aveez. The food was great in every restaurant. Whilst the cleaners worked really quick and were extremely helpful by providing us with irons at any point we needed! Overall fantastic place to stay

I’m Mauritian (though born and living in the UK), and this was the first time my husband and I stayed in a hotel. We wanted to treat our young family, and it turned out to be an excellent decision.
I cannot praise Zilwa Attitude enough. From check-in with Celina to our room (1611) being immaculately cleaned by Anand, our stay was nothing short of perfect. Zalfa consistently looked after us at breakfast with kindness and care, as if we were part of her family. Elvynah attended to us on many evenings at dinner, always allowing me the time and opportunity to practise my Creole.
Everyone made an effort to get to know us personally, remembering our room number and our favourite drinks and foods.
The activities were varied and enjoyable, and the Kid’s Club offered our children the chance to explore an old boat and participate in various activities.
The food was of outstanding quality, and as a food snob, I could hardly tell it was mass-catered. The evening entertainment was equally excellent, though we were keen to enjoy it more, our young children were quite tired when the main acts performed.
If you’re considering staying here, I highly recommend it. It offers great value, and the staff (or hotel family) genuinely care about you and your experience.

The room needs renovation and insulation to prevent air conditioning loss. The polished concrete floor needs replacing. The family room, with its travel cot, bathtub, and baby changing area, was appreciated. The access ramps for people with reduced mobility need improvement as they are not suitable for strollers. Anti-slip surfaces should be added to all three ramps. The toilets are poorly maintained, and there was a foul odor coming from the men's restroom near the Karay restaurant. The activities and entertainment offered were excellent. The restaurants and service were top-notch. The price of €400 per night for two adults with half-board is not commensurate with the room's standard.

Beautiful resort. Lots of meal options including a great selection of gluten free options.
The only negative was that I found the women that worked at the bulk shop quite rude. My husband and I did all inclusive and would get takeaway drinks from there after dinner, the staff came across as rude and unpleasant.
All the other staff was lovely. One in particular at the bar near the ocean was incredibly kind.

The hotel is very good! Clean, cozy, everyone is friendly. The food is very decent for both breakfast and dinner. Lunches are so-so (no variety) and expensive if you take them on site. It is far from the main attractions, but if you have a car, then it is fine. The beach is also not bad, a bit shallow in the morning, but you can swim, the water is not very clear.

Hot and Buggy
The outside and the pool areas were nice. The pools and beach were nice. There were lots of bugs. While eating dinner at the buffet lots of ants began crawling up the table legs and across the table. It was not very appealing. Also, there were bugs in the room including what we thought was a roach on the bed and lots of ants around the room and in the bathroom.
The air conditioner never able to get the room to the temperature set on the thermostat and the ceiling fan switch was broken which made it unable to be changed.
All of the restaurants/bars were outside and it was out making dining uncomfortable. There was no airconditioned commons area.
