Had dinner there, nice versatile menu. The fish was excellent, had the fish in banana leaves and catch of the day. Cocktails could be better. Service was nice, but could be better: a bit more welcoming and helpful. Overall good exp.

We go here to have drinks as it is one of the best locations on the island with a sublime view. I’ve never stayed in the rooms hence I can not attest to them, but getting a drink at the bar during sunset is definitely recommended

Sky Bar at Mystik Hotel is an absolute gem, and a huge part of that is thanks to Kunal Robin, the bartender. From the first drink to the last, the service was flawless. Kunal is not just making cocktails – he’s creating an experience. Friendly, confident, attentive, and clearly passionate about what he does. Every recommendation was spot on, every cocktail perfectly balanced, and the vibe he brings behind the bar makes the place come alive. The bar itself is stunning – breathtaking views, especially at sunset, a relaxed but classy atmosphere, and a layout that makes you want to stay longer than planned. Add to that fast, professional service and genuinely warm hospitality, and you have something special. I truly hope the Hotel General Manager and the Food & Beverage Manager are aware of what they have here. Sky Bar is operating at a very high level, and Kunal Robin is a real asset to the hotel. Talent like this elevates the entire guest experience. Highly recommended – this is exactly how a hotel bar should feel.

Very good hotel and restaurant. Especially Sunil supported us very well in getting a reservation in the restaurant. Roof top bar with quite good music and cocktails and good view to the sea.

This was our first stay in Mauritius and definitely regretted booking this hotel. It surely has potential, but it seems like the hotel doesn’t invest in it.

Biggest issue is the music. Awful base dance music all day and evening, either at the bar or the restaurant or both, and on top of that also the hotel next door. We just wanted to chill by the water but the music made it awkward. Every night at 10pm we had to ask for the music to be turned down, even though there were no guests in the bar or restaurant.

The rooms look old and worn out, though the bed was good and so was the shower.

There were tiny ants everywhere, even on the toilet seat.

The breakfast is bland and didn’t always seem fresh, we usually didn’t eat our breakfast. The restaurant staff seemed constantly stressed. Also, coffee machine never got cleaned (alerts on the machine were ignored all week), and tasted sour

We didn’t stay at Mystik as we were in an apartment close by, but we had dinner there 2 nights in a row. I was a little wary as some reviews said the service was slow, but we had a great experience, nice staff, not long to wait and excellent food.

Very nice hotel with breathtaking views.

What we valued the most was how helpful and going the extra mile of the hotel staff. Anything and everything we asked for was provided to us or at least gave us advice on where to find it if not available from them.

The breakfast options are quite varied which makes it perfect if you have a long stay.

I would like to point out that we really valued how good they are with parking and ensuring cars are safe in the parking spots.

We celebrated my birthday during our stay and it was just perfect.

We had just arrived from South Africa and stay with friends. We did a bit of an explore and found this really nice restaurant. Beautiful surroundings overlooking the ocean. Really comprehensive menu and the most delicious tuna dish. My wife had the fried rice omelet, which was very generous and totally delicious too. Staff are friendly and very helpful.
