This place is amazing—truly a little paradise: a beautifully maintained garden, a great pool, and of course an ocean view. Everything was excellent from start to finish.

The entire staff is incredibly helpful, always welcoming you with a smile and ready to assist with anything you need. If you arrive by car, you can park in the hotel courtyard; if there’s no space, there’s a public parking lot just outside.

Renting a car (and booking tours) is worth doing on-site through Cindy (the price-to-quality ratio is fair), but keep in mind that the car rental doesn’t include full insurance—there is an excess/deductible. That said, you can easily manage without a car, because there’s a local bus stop very close by (ask at reception and they’ll explain which routes go where). By the way, buses run often here and can even be faster than driving (cash payment, small fare).

The hotel itself is excellent, and the rooms are wonderful (I recommend choosing a room with an ocean view). The hotel is exceptionally clean, and the housekeeping team works very sincerely (don’t forget to leave them a tip!).

The nearest shop is a bit farther from the hotel, but you can take the bus to the large Super U Grand Baie supermarket, or use the mini kiosk next to the hotel where you can buy water, beer, fruit, and also tasty freshly prepared fast food.

Honestly, the best food we had was at the beautiful Mon Choisy beach next to the hotel—it's not only a great place to walk and swim, but also to eat together with the local community. In my opinion, the best food stalls are L’île Cuisine – Chez Mario and Kiosque Magique. You can also walk into town and eat at local restaurants.

Really great place with a stunning ocean view! The rooms were very clean, the staff was incredibly polite, and the entire grounds were well-maintained. I also really enjoyed the fantastic breakfast and the peaceful pool area.
However, there is a significant noise issue that guests should be aware of. On one side of the property, there is a construction site where work starts loudly at 7:00 AM. On the other side, a neighboring hotel plays loud music from midday until late in the evening.
While the hotel itself isn't responsible for these external factors, those specifically seeking peace and quiet might find it difficult here. For everyone else who isn't bothered by background noise, this hotel offers excellent value for the money. I personally would come back again:)

The property is around lot of plants and trees but they have not maintained the basic mosquito prevention.
After cleaaning also there was alot of small flies and mosquito in my room.
Also there flush was not working properly.... Rest overall view was wonderful.... The staff was not much cooperative

We had a wonderful stay at Mon Choisy Beach R. - Apart’Hotel. The rooms were spotless, and the level of cleanliness was excellent throughout our stay. The apartments come with a fully equipped kitchen that has everything you need to cook, including a coffee machine, which was a great plus.

The best part of the hotel, however, is Sanjay at the reception. He made a huge difference during our stay. He helped us with many practical things that tourists often struggle with: where to withdraw cash, which bus to take, where to shop for groceries, and many other questions.

He solved several problems for us purely out of kindness and genuine care. His support made our experience much easier and more enjoyable.

Highly recommended, we would definitely stay here again!

Had an amazing stay here for my 30th birthday trip to Mauritius 🇲🇺✨ From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcomed and taken care of. Sanjay and his crew went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable, relaxed, and enjoying every moment. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and you can tell they truly care about their guests’ experience. Grateful for the memories we made here — would absolutely stay again and highly recommend to anyone visiting the island!

A group of us were there for dinner and drinks. The view was spectacular from the third floor. The drinks were great. Then we went downstairs to the restaurant for dinner and the food was awful. Pasta was soggy (2 people had the pasta), the fish was tasteless (4 of us had the fish) and the chicken was like small pieces of cardboard.

I would go back for drinks and the view, but not for dinner.

Good place. No beach but Mont Choisy beach is right next to it for walks, shaded picnics, large beach area and uncrowded water areas. Breakfast is simple , served to your room as there is no restaurant on site. Good kitchen facilities but missing some simple stuff for washing and drying dishes, unless you leave them all for the maid. Good staff. Pool size is adequate. Room sizes are reasonable, modern and clean. Wifi reception is great throughout facility.

We had just arrived from South Africa and stay with friends. We did a bit of an explore and found this really nice restaurant. Beautiful surroundings overlooking the ocean. Really comprehensive menu and the most delicious tuna dish. My wife had the fried rice omelet, which was very generous and totally delicious too. Staff are friendly and very helpful.
