Reviews
I was there as a guest on an all-inclusive package, yet upon arrival, my name did not appear on the list. While this was not the fault of the security guard, I did not appreciate his approach, as I was asked to stay aside while he checked with Reception instead of being properly welcomed.
Due to this lack of coordination, I was asked to pay an additional fee to stay until dinner, which was both inconvenient and frustrating.
The rooms are clearly outdated and in need of renovation. The sofa bed was crooked and old, the plastic bin was uncovered and unattractive, and overall the room looked poorly maintained. The bathroom appeared to have been cleaned hastily, and the electrical sockets in the bedroom looked damaged, which is concerning.
Throughout our stay, every time we ordered drinks, we were repeatedly questioned about whether we were on an all-inclusive package. Even the Food & Beverage Manager questioned us twice. When this issue was raised, his response was that they had not received proper communication—an explanation that is simply unacceptable.
I work in the hospitality sector, and I have never experienced such poor service and lack of internal coordination. Management urgently needs to review communication with online booking agencies, establish clear procedures, and implement an effective way to identify guests on all-inclusive packages to avoid embarrassing and frustrating guests.
This experience was extremely disappointing and does not reflect the standards expected of a resort and spa.
I recently stayed at Le Palmiste and it was honestly the worst hotel experience I've had. I paid 13,600 for a "full board" package, but everything about it was far from what I expected.
The food was subpar at best, and the service was just terrible. The staff seemed uninterested and almost avoided us since we weren’t all-inclusive guests. The bar was closed to us, and even basic things like water were not provided. We were left feeling ignored and disrespected.
The room, which I was told was "cheaper" than others, was like something out of a low-budget motel. I’ve stayed in much better accommodations for less. The view from the room was awful, and the atmosphere was so uncomfortable that it honestly felt like a waste of money.
I’ve never experienced such poor service in my life. The waiters were constantly hovering around us, making us feel like we didn’t belong. And when we tried to speak to the manager, they were unhelpful and gave us no solutions. It felt like they had no interest in making the guest experience better.
One year of hard work, and this is what I got? A "hotel" with trash performance, no attention to detail, and zero hospitality. I do not recommend this place to anyone. Save your money and go somewhere else!
Beach is located in front of hotel, hotel does not have beach view or access directly, you need just to go through one beach bar and beach is 3 mins away.
Room service works everyday, towels and bed sheets are clean.
3 pools and 1 jakuzzi are enough for 7-10 days stay. Food is also great for the dinner, breakfast is a bit monotonous (ham, eggs, cheese, beans..) but dinner is always different and it is really great.
Palmiste as a guest, but had a wonderful experience anyway!
I was walking through Trou aux Biches area with an intention to rent a car and accidentally found rental here. Everything went so smoothly, rented the car from the reception for 2 days and I really enjoyed it!
Then when I went to return the car I was so lucky to met the manager Ajay, who with his incredible hospitality skills made my holiday with my parents in Trou aux Biches truly memorable!
Big thank you for that beautiful experience and it will be my pleasure to visit you in the future as a hotel guest!
