We had a pleasant stay at Stella Rina. It is a charming and calm hotel. Great breakfasts and nice dinners. Hotel staff is very kind and will provide you good advice for activities around Grand Bay! You can come only for dinner.

Came for the second time as a couple, enjoyed the stay nearly for a week, did not quite appreciate the admin asking us what time we are going from the hotel (the day before) and telling us to make sure to leave on time as she expect new clients. Your bad experiences should not be ours.
If you ask and we tell- that should be it i guess.
But the bar was phenomenal! The arranged rhums was something!The food was gorgeous, well portioned and affordable! Loved the cocktails too!

This adults-only hotel is in a great location in Grand Baie. The small, clearly run-down complex has its own parking lot and not too many rooms. The location is quiet, but the hotel is showing its age. Breakfast is monotonous. Dinner is only available if ordered in advance.

The comfort room is very spacious and has everything that is needed.
Had a great welcome by the host and was very friendly during my stay.
Dinner at the restaurant is limited, but it was just awesome. The chef is a great cook, and the live music show was wonderful.
I will surely go back in the future.

Stayed four nights. Good location within walking distance of the beach and several restaurants and shops, still far enough from the town center to be reasonably quiet. Expect to hear some barking dogs during the night (bring ear plugs and white noise). Spacious, clean room. Amenities included mini-fridge, electric kettle and laptop-size safe. Comfortable bed and pillows. Well lit desk area. Sufficient number of well located power sockets. No screens at the windows (which would have been helpful, since housekeeping always left the bathroom windows open). Bathroom with everything in working order. Shower with good water pressure and plenty of hot water. The sink leaked some water from the base to the counter, which I reported to management. Wifi was alright, although it periodically slowed down and disconnected. Served breakfast (fixed menu): it wasn't my choice of food, but it was alright and fine for vegetarians. They play music at the bar every evening (live band on Saturday) and you'll definitely hear it and feel the vibration from your room, but it ends at 21:00, which is quite reasonable. The hotel arranges airport transfers for approx USD 48 each way (it's a 70-km drive). The staff is very responsive to inquiries on Whatsapp. Overall, it's a good place to stay and a good value.

We were charmed by this hotel! Very nice and gives a great quite feeling of rest. Perfectly clean and well-maintained rooms and territory. New conditioners and showers. Good and frequently changed cotton bed linens. Very nice owners and good service. Excellent for the price you pay! Good, French style dinner, if you choose to eat at the hotel.
Small minors: dog is allowed to poop on the grass, and this is not followed up. Location - you have to cross a busy road twice to reach the beach. Nice beach which is not on the map, but when it's hot - sometimes feels lazy to walk across asphalt. One must remember this is not the first line. Breakfast is very much debated because it does not change in the content, but we got used to it, small changes can be done if requested.
Closed by three very good restaurants. 15 minutes walk takes you to two malls with more restaurants and shops. Public transport to Botanic garden and capital.

Nice little hotel. Well maintained. Recommended... spacious and clean rooms... efficient staff in housekeeping and catering! Small pool to cool off in... city center 2 km away... easy walk (except at night! At reception... everything is there... transfer from the airport... car rental and excursions and a smile!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Mauritius. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly and attentive staff. The hotel's location is perfect, with access to the beach and turquoise waters. The room was spacious and clean. Every morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast made with fresh, local produce. The restaurant also offers refined cuisine, showcasing Mauritian flavors. A huge thank you to the entire team for their kindness and professionalism. One of the best Indian food in grain bay! You have to try the fish gratin! Not five stars because of the opening hours.
