Reviews
Let's start with the positives.
A big plus are the receptionists. They are amazing. They are kind, polite, proactive and very professional. An exceptional example is Vladimir, who helped me out a lot with one issue, he went out of his way and was very proactive.
The receptionists really keep this hotel from falling apart. If you need anything, talk to the lady with pink hair, she is able to fix it with the rest of the staff when nobody else is.
The bartenders are also very nice and very inventive with the drinks they serve.
Also on the plus side, the hotel is new, aesthetically pleasing, close to the beach. It is a good place to rest and relax.
Now, minuses. And there are a lot.
1. The rooms are not cleaned properly or at all. At the beginning of the stay my room was not cleaned for 2 days and I started to talk to the cleaning staff. Two different cleaning teams promised to come, but they didn't. Then one cleaning lady came, but she literally just swept the floor and folded my bedsheets, left the floor dirty from mud. She didn't even touch the bathroom. I complained to two different receptionists, but nothing happened (I don't blame the receptionists). Finally I complained to the lady with pink hair and my room was cleaned within 10 minutes. I had to talk to the cleaning lady and specifically ask her to give me new towels (if you don't throw the towels on the floor, they won't be changed). Then, after she left, I discovered that she still hadn't mopped the floor in the bathroom! I could not believe it! What do you need to do to have your room cleaned in this hotel? So I complained to the receptionist again, the floor was mopped. Until the end of my stay I made sure to keep the floor and the towels clean because I didn't want to go through the same hassle to get someone to do the cleaning.
2. I don't think that the food is poisonous, but it's monotonous. I don't eat meat and the options in the hotel are meat mostly and some limited salad options. They even add meat to most salads. I understand that it's more difficult for vegetarians to be satisfied, but even meat eaters complained that the food was boring. However, this seems to be the case everywhere in Montenegro.
3. What was infuriating was the ban on filling up the water bottles. We were in the middle of a heatwave, at times more than 40 degrees Celsius. In the all inclusive package you can get as many beers, vodkas, whiskies as you want. You can also get as many glasses of water or juice as you want, but God forbid you fill up a bottle. Don't they understand that a person needs to drink when it's hot? I can't just take a glass of water to my room, I'll be downstairs to get another one in 5 minutes. So I used to fill 3 glasses of water and pour water from them into my refillable bottle. That's ridiculous.
Water is cheap and necessary!
Overall, the holiday was cheap, so I can't say that I didn't get my money's worth, but the hotel runs only thanks to the receptionists.
The staff seems to react to any requests, but in order to do something, you need to remind at least three times and still control it.
In the dining room, as food lay on the floor after dinner, it continues to lie at breakfast. No cleaning.
During 5 days room not cleaned, sheets not changed, etc.
Breakfast. No coffee, only one kind of tea from thermos.
In general, breakfast and dinner are monotonous and there is little variety. Don't expect fish or seafood. As for three stars, corresponds. No hot drinks for dinner.
Why is it so difficult to arrange housekeeping?
Great place for families with children ❤
