The worst hotel in my life. The room was dirty, but the personal didn’t care. They didn’t clean it, until I complained. Breakfast was poor — once they even served a grilled sausage in plastic 😭

The breakfast was excellent, offering a generous and varied spread that truly reflects Montenegrin and Albanian hospitality. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, always going out of their way to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms are cozy and the beds are excellent, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. A small suggestion for improvement would be to add more toiletries and towel hooks. Nevertheless, this is a fantastic hotel and a top choice in Ulcinj. Highly recommended—I would gladly return!

Breakfast is another highlight—generous and varied, with plenty of options to start the day. The portions are huge, reflecting the warm Montenegrin /Albanian hospitality. The rooms are well-appointed, with comfortable beds that ensure a great night’s sleep. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, always on hand with a smile. Their hospitality adds a personal touch to the overall experience. If I had to mention a minor improvement, it would be that the bathroom could benefit from more toiletries, especially for those traveling light, and perhaps the addition of a few towel hooks to help keep things tidy. Overall, Pirate Hotel is a solid 3-star hotel, rather than 4-star, but it’s a fantastic choice for anyone visiting Ulcinj. I will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

The rooms were amazing, the view was awesome, and the staff were super friendly.
The breakfast staff and the reception were very welcoming and helpful and will do anything to make your stay more pleasant. This location is super good but be cautious about the hills and the stairs as to get to and from the main strip you have to walk multiple stairs up and down. If you are unfit or have trouble climbing stairs then this may not be the location for you. However the view was so worth climbing up and down everyday to get to and from. 10/10 would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Ulcinj, you will not be disappointed.
