VERY Unhappy with the service received during my stay at this hotel. The majority of the reception staff were very warm and welcoming but the restaurant staff and management were ATROCIOUS. Very unwelcoming, very unpleasant. They almost behaved as if they did not want anyone staying at their hotel. My family and I weren't the only customers that received this horrible treatment. Another man and his family actually came to the reception very angrily complaining about the lack of care and consideration they were receiving in the midst of our foul treatment. It appears as though during peak seasons they may care more about the service they deliver but during off peak season they don't care how they treat their customers. The restaurant staff spent more time avoiding having to serve anyone than actually serving. The reception staff were friendly but unhelpful and the management were backstabbing and deceitful. Even the condition of our apartment was less than satisfactory (towel racks coming off the walls, sockets hanging out barely working and stale towels). I'm soooo disappointed with the treatment my family and I received. BEAUTIFUL city...Horrible hotel.

Avoid - I booked this for my clients (as a travel agent) and they had money stolen from their safe. Hotel were not helpful and tried to avoid dealing with this at all costs when we tried to chase it up.

I would like to warn future guests about a serious security issue we encountered. During our stay, we discovered £100 worth of Dirhams had been taken from our in-room safe. We were certain of the amount taken. Upon reporting the theft, the initial staff member we spoke to seemed completely unconcerned, which was alarming. The follow-up by the management was terrible. We were leaving that day and were promised a call with an update, which never came. We had to chase them, and when we finally got a response via email, they initially claimed no one had entered our room, only to contradict themselves and confirm housekeeping had entered. They were highly defensive and denied that their staff could have accessed the safe, even after I confirmed I had used my date of birth as the code (a fact they knew from the copied passport on file). Their dismissive attitude and contradictory responses made us 100% certain the money was stolen by an employee. Given the theft and the hotel's deliberate refusal to investigate or take responsibility, we DO NOT recommend this hotel. We felt unsafe and believe guests should avoid this property at all costs.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! Firstly it’s a gamble when you book whether you will get a renovated room or a room from the 1980’s as only floors 1&2 are renovated. You will still pay the same price for whichever one you are given. The breakfast is mediocre, the sheets are dirty and are not changed. Water is cold and on one of the days there was no water at all for 1 hour! The lighting in the hallways do not come on and is very eerie and dangerous at night as there is already no windows in the hallways. We also had a terrible experience when checking out. After being accused of stealing towels. The reception manager Youseff said everything was okay and no further action was necessary. We left the premises and came back three hours later to collect our luggage. The staff then accused us of breaking a mirror in our room. This was after we had left and all their checks had been completed and were deemed satisfactory. The staff would not let us leave until we paid 900 MAD. They locked our suitcases and refused to release them. We had very young children and they kept essential baby formula from us which is completely unacceptable and downright inhumane. Once we voiced our strong concerns regarding baby formula that was locked away they released our suitcases but then locked the main entrance and kept us there as hostages for over an hour. They threatened to call the police and when we tried to take a video to record for our own evidence they stated we are not allowed to film. These people are con artists and knew exactly what they were doing. It seems from other reviews and their demeanour of how they approached this situation in the sense that they seemed completely un phased by our pleas and anger towards them shows they have done this before. We only paid as we knew this would be the only way of getting out and any further delay would result in a missed flight. Take this review strongly and highly consider whether this is the experience you want.
