This hotel is terrible, literally a very bad hotel, light sockets hanging off walls, no lighting but only wall lamps. Curtains coming off. Entertainment is 0. Cold water, refrigerator took 2 3 hours to work, electrical wires are all bare.
Loud music on the 5th floor till midnight where sounds radiate down to the rooms below1
The Internet is terrible, really bad. Hard to communicate with anyone back home.
Location wise, has only a few restaurants and convenient stores.
To go to souk or beach you have to take a taxi
The best part of this hotel is the concierge Mr Saeed, a very helpful respectful man.
Will not here again or recommend this place, and whoever liked this hotel or has rated it more than 1 star is a liar.
Real disappointment
Me and my wife had a pleasant stay at New Farah hotel. We received a warm welcome by the staff and were given a large clean double room. The bathroom was clean and well maintained. The room was cleaned daily and towels were replaced. The breakfast was above expectation, we were served traditional morrocan breakfast with omelette, bread, pastries, tea, coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. The staff were lovely hosts.
The hotel itself is situated in an ideal location. It's only a few minutes walk away from Masjid Muhammad and the local restaurants and cafés (Much cheaper than those located at the beach front). We were a 5 minute walk away from uniprix store which is the best spot for souvenirs at a decent price without the hassle of haggling. It took us about 15 minutes to reach the beach front.
Overall, great experience and great value for money. We highly recommend staying at the hotel and we personally would stay again in the future.
I arrived and immediately checked out bc of the construction and the awful guests having a party with their hotel door wide open. These guests threatened me when I asked them to close their room, while reception looked / listened to what was going on, ignoring the situation which became super unsafe as one of the more aggressive guests followed me to the elevator.
The hotel refused to refund or apologise for the situation they caused, leaving a female solo traveler without accommodation for my trip, which I then had to rebook at a much higher cost at short notice.
