El Pueblo Tamlelt in Agadir

Firstly, when arriving, it is almost impossible to find the entrance, it's not very well signposted. Checking in went smooth, however, it was when we went to our room that the issues started. The room was dull and mould in the bathroom, the beds were very hard and uncomfortable, sheets had multiple stains and the bath towels we arrived to were blood stained. The door was hard to lock and had to be pushed hard to lock it and when opening, it was difficult to unlock and required pulling and then pushing. We had no way of hanging a do not disturb sign nor did we have one so the cleaning staff just kept trying to come in. Now onto the cleaning... There was not much cleaning going on at all. The staff would come in and put fresh toilet roll and towels in the bathroom with the floors only being mopped once in the 7 days we were here. The TV was a box TV from the early 2000's with no remote which was just used as a holder and for things to be placed on. The radiator was also from the late 90's and which would have created enough dust as a nuclear fallout. Safe to say this was not used, even on the coldest days. The alcohol was watered down and a very cheap version of what is believed to be vodka. Multiple times we tried to have a basic vodka and coke with no luck. The food was also terrible to say the least, it was bad to a point we considered a new hotel and went out for our meals instead. We had one allergy which when questioning the staff, could not give us a clear answer. We booked a table for two on new years eve, expecting a romantic evening, to which we were told we had been booked on a table with another couple... So we left and went to KFC instead, very disappointing experience to say the least. The only viable food was the snack counter which we could not fault at all and the limited snacks in the drug store onsite. The staff at the snack counter should be making the food for everyone, they were fantastic! The cats were the most friendly staff onsite and that included some of the other hotel guests.

Would not recommend. I have just come back from this hotel, and do not recommend. It has really put me off. On arriving we checked in to our first room, we had booked for a double bed and we had two singles. The balcony felt like a prison surrounded by brick walls. We then moved rooms, the view from the balcony was a lot nicer, the room was better laid out. But the balcony door didn’t close. The food here was terrible, not one plate of food did we have that was hot. It was cold, they stopped bringing food out after an hour so if you don’t go when it first opens, you have no chance of getting food. Even when they just open, the food is still luke warm or freezing cold. The choice of food is not like anywhere I’ve stayed before. Very limited choices. No wifi anywhere only at reception and the bar. The only good thing here was the animation team, they were amazing, friendly and worked hard to involve everyone. Me and my partner have been poorly from this holiday also. Would definitely not go back to this hotel.
