Middle of town. Modern, the staff are on call at all times, very friendly, room serviced daily. Mohammed at the pool, a gentleman with Carolyn the turtle.. No complaints, would willing return.

We booked one night thinking we’d enjoy a relaxing escape by the pool. What we got instead felt like an accidental booking at a forgotten roadside inn stuck in the past. The “poolside room” was dark and smelled musty. The stove and sink were rusty, as if they hadn’t been touched since the 80s unless by mold. In the bathroom, we found two random glasses, a 2x1 cm bar of soap that looked more symbolic than useful, and towels with ripped, frayed edges that gave off a strong “used to be white” energy. Spiders were casually hanging out around the bed, clearly more comfortable than we were. The sun chairs by the pool were dirty and uninviting, and the whole atmosphere felt tired and neglected. The TV? Balanced on a table barely 40 cm high; too small for it and one of the legs was actually hanging off the edge. It looked like one gentle nudge from a toddler would send it crashing down. Practical and safe. Also beware because those sheets look like bad news (READ THE COMMENTS ABOUT BED BUGS ON GOOGLE ) In short, it was a night to remember, for all the wrong reasons. Wouldn't wish this stay on anyone who values comfort, cleanliness, or functioning Wi-Fi.

"I had a great stay at Hotel Kamal City Centre in Agadir! No complaints at all apart from the check-in receptionist being a bit weird. For the price, it’s an excellent deal—good value with a prime, centrally located spot just a short walk from Agadir Beach and the Amazighe Heritage Museum. The room was clean, a good size, and came with a nice balcony offering views of the bustling city or pool area. The hot shower was a treat after a day out, and the breakfast, at an extra 50MAD, was delicious—offering a buffet with continental options. The hotel itself has a lovely outdoor pool, garden, and terrace, perfect for relaxing. The staff were generally friendly. Highly recommend for a comfortable, affordable stay in the heart of Agadir!"

If you're after a cheap and cheerful stay away from the hordes in Agadir this hotel is ideal. Located half a mile from the seafront the Kamal is rather dated but none the worse for that. We paid just 25 pounds a night including a very good continental breakfast with fresh bread, pastries and coffee. Staff are very attentive and hard working. Rooms are cleaned daily and have TV and safe. Pool is kept spotless and has a small bar area. Within a few yards are a number of street food establishments and small restaurants. Just two minutes walk from the local bus station with hourly direct service to airport. Very pleased.

We recently stayed at the Kamal for 20 nights in a family room as the managed upgraded us. Rooms are very basic but spotlessly clean, our cleaner left flowers for us regularly. I've visited this hotel for over 35 years and was really pleased yo see Mohammed at the pool (the most hardworking person ever) Abdul snd Mohammed on reception still working there. It felt like coming home. Note: half the hotel is being renovated.

I feel this hotel has had some harsh reviews and unfairly. I have just stayed here for 5 nights, room only and I thought it was great. It’s a 3 star and cheap, so it’s not luxury but you’re not paying for luxury, so I didn’t expect this. It was in a great location, easy walk to the beach, shops, restaurants etc but not in the middle of everything so it’s too noisy. I was on the main road and sleep with ear plugs and I never struggled to sleep. The room was basic but clean and the bed was changed daily. The cleaning staff were friendly and the reception staff and concierge always said hello. The guy who runs the pool area was such a gent! A guest near me had fallen asleep one day in the sun, and I saw the guy who runs the pool area, go over and cover him with an umbrella so he didn’t get burnt. Absolute gem. So kind and hardworking. The pool area was so lovely and peaceful. My only gripe is the pillows. They are made of lumps and not very comfortable but it didn’t stop me from sleeping. I would come back here, I had a great stay. I travel a lot and found this hotel to be great value for money.

Dirty, bad customer services, had to wait for checking more than 30 mint after that room as you can see dirty, when you speak to the guy at the reception he doesn't care no apologies at all. Lots of noise late night and early morning. I won't go back and I won't recommend it.

The reception staff were so rude and far from helpful. Everything was too hard. Someone tried to come into my room and there was no apology. Asked for a fork and received a blatant no, wouldn’t come to my room to tell me taxi was early. Bad attitude. Pillows were horrible, bed was hard. Great location though.
