The location of this hotel is very good.
However, there have been two major complaints about hotel employees in the past.
Last time, I couldn't understand the security guard's English.
I asked them to call a staff who could speak English.
Then the staff member started talking about how my English was terrible and difficult to understand and how he was better than me.
When staff can't understand their English, they get angry and blame the customers.
Staff will ask for compensation for towels.
A yellow stain on an old towel that has been used many times.
I was charged $20 for this stain that was barely visible until it was pointed out.
This issue delayed check-out by 10 minutes. Can you spot this tiny stain?

In the room I stayed, there was a mirror rot.In the bathtub, there was no stopper. The AC was kinda noisy a bit. The person I met at the reception was not friendly. I give 2 out of 5 for friendliness.

Nice and clean place with friendly staff. Room had a good bed and spotless. Hard floor was well kept. Has a safe and a small refrigerator in the room. There is an Orange Supermarket around the corner.

Room was fairly okay. Can't ask for more given the price paid. However, felt like the room/furnitures can be better maintained. Our air-con was shooting out ice cubes for awhile (LOL). Overall room feels quite dark/old. Bearable, but not too comfortable. Staffs could speak minimal English but tried their best to be helpful. Breakfast was a decent spread too.

Excellent service. Came a day earlier than booked and they managed to help us get a room without extra charge. Would recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff know some english too and are very helpful.
The room is spacious comfy. Shower is nice with hot water and is spacious.
Restaraunt above at the roof serves delicous food at an affordable cost too. Have a bakery beside it too which is convenient if one wants to have some snacks.
We checked out at 3am to catch the train to Hsipaw and the staff is ready to help check us out even at that hour. Excellent place to stay.

For sure the best value for its money. We arrived at 6 am and the staff checked us in at no cost! Spacious rooms and bath area, big enough for two. Lots of cafes both local and European type around, all main attractions are within 5-10 min driving. Note that grab taxi is represented by motorbikes only so ask for a regular taxi at the reception. We were lucky to get an English speaking driver for a half a day for 28 000 kyats only! Enjoy Mandalay?

Normal hotel with great breakfast service.
Everything is clean.
Hotel is near with shan ma ma restaurant. Special shan traditional food restaurant with good fair.

Good situated in the city. Spacious room, but looking at the details in the whole building reveals lots of spots to fix, to clean, etc. All in all it was ok. The cheap price compensated the disadvantages a little. All in all average accomodation that is ok for a short stay.
