We had game and beef steaks, they were great! Chef Tabea cooked them to perfection. Will definitely be back again. Deon and Lynne Viljoen.
Oasis is a lovely restaurant, the ambiance and aesthetics are really amazing. The food was great. Our waitress Ruusa was incredibly helpful, friendly and patient with us. Her service was top tier.
I had a lovely time at Oasis Bar. I had a Piña Colada cocktail and a Sun-Crisp Chicken Burger. The chicken burger was so delicious — I’d rate it a 10/10, while the Piña Colada gets a 6/10. I also loved the aesthetics of the place. We also got great service from Miss Russ , she’s so sweet .
Great service. RoseMary is an absolutely amazing waitress. I would recommend her service any day. She’s kind, loving and friendly.
Rosemary was an amazing waitress. She made the experience so enjoyable . She was kind and prompt to any responses . She made the night feel so special. Make sure to ask for her .
The service was amazing, but the food took a lil bit long… overall we had the best professional waiter Ruusa 👌

The location is great. Could hear the waves splashing against the coast.
Excellent staff.
Comfortable bed, great location, great view from the balcony, plentiful parking, consistently good food, and special kudos to Victor in the restaurant.
Great location, directly across the street from the beach. You could easily walk to the various restaurants in town. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The views from the room were amazing. I wish I could have stayed longer, honestly.
Very gracious staff, however the hotel is weathered and worn. Rooms were clean, but the rooms were tired. No elevators woring, but hallway lights were always off through corridors to reach our room. Rusting lamps in rooms, washrooms had odd metal blinds, rusted interior faucets etc, maybe due to proximity to the wtaer, but well located and safe.
The staff, especially Joedy the GM who was very engaging veryhelpful with questions and made excellent suggestions for places to visit or eat. The food was also top quality at the hotel as well snd thd msin donning area has cleat had investment as it was well presented.
The front reception crew, especially Ronaldo, were very pleasant and made us feel welcome. Hotel elevator is out of service and apparently will be for some time so we had to carry bags up separate flights of stairs. As it was quite cold when we visited, we did not try the rooftop pool, which is unheated. The included. Breakfast was a pretty good quality, but the servers were a little inattentive. The...

Our room was in the new section, was spacious. There was coffee and tea offering but not little bottles of water. There is no dinner option, only breakfast. Breakfast was average. Security of the property was not great, I was seating at the lobby area and a beggar get in the property, I had my bag with my money but Thank God she did not grab it.
If you're not too fussy, the accommodation is okay. However...no aircon in bedroom, Room safe wasn't large enough for laptop. Beds not very comfortable. We had to leave the sliding door open on the evening for proper ventilation as there are no windows in bedroom. Fridge not in room but in a shared space with room next door, not great. The warm option of breakfast was quite greasy and no option...
Excellent central location near the beach. The rooms are spacious and clean; our balcony had a great partial sea view. Even during New Year, the room was cool enough at night without A/C. Highlights: Rooftop & Bar: Beautiful spot for sundowners and watching the sunset. Staff: Wonderful and very helpful with activity bookings. Fridge: Private fridge for each room located in a nearby shared kitchen...
Great hotel in the heart of Swakopmund, very close to the beach. The rooms are spacious and clean with nice balconies. Even without A/C, the room was plenty cool at night during my New Year stay.
The staff are wonderful and very helpful with booking activities. Just a heads-up: your private fridge is located in a shared kitchen area for your section rather than in the room. Breakfast is standard for...
Martina made us feel so special and helped us beyond duty. She even checked to see if we ca wrap our luggage at Walvis on our way back to SA. The breakfast matron and bar tenders were all very friendly and made us feel super welcome. Martina managed to give us a unit with a partial sea view which we thoroughly enjoyed. The best sunsets we from the rooftop terrace. From there we could see the staggered...
Very good value for money and the executive room I upgraded to was well worth it. Friendly and helpful hotel staff and the bar is open til late; so I highly recommend. Splurge on a higher category room as the views are great, offer elevator anccess and they have refrigerators with a small freezer compartment.

Fabulous hotel. Great walking distance to town and shops. Close to outdoor market. Few meters from the beach. Good service. Rooms not big but bathrooms are. Lovely views. Definitely get ocean view room. As I’m a tour guide will return with another group next .
Lovely location right at the ocean, really feels like a little oasis in the middle of swakopmund. Ended up enjoying it so much that we chose to unwind instead of doing our planned city tour. Rooms are lovely and clean, especially nice if you can get an ocean view one. The service is excellent, everyone was extremely friendly. You can get good food in house, but other restaurants nearby are also worth...
Fabulous experience. The view, the location and service couldn’t be better. So restful and peaceful, right on the beach and the promenade. Breakfast is great, so many choices, and everything tastes homemade. Loved it

Very need and professional environment.
Service was really great and helpful staff members willing to help all the way.
There were used drinks in the fridge. Some had straw in it which was disgusting. Breakfast and dinner were not good at all.
The room is standard, nice and clean, located at the city center. Breakfast was good.
The hotel
Is location in the middle of city and really easy get a round. However one the staff from club saying to me that I took some of the drink outside the lounge. It like call me stealing.
I rarely write reviews, but after seeing this hotel’s stellar ratings—which in my experience do not reflect reality—I felt compelled to share my perspective.
Overall Impression
The property does not live up to the glowing reviews. The rooms feel more like those of a rundown youth hostel, and while the staff were generally friendly, they appeared poorly trained. The atmosphere reminded me more of a...

Felt very welcome, room was spacious and clean. Staff were very helpful , breakfast was great- loved juice bar! The only thing I didn’t like was that room was too dark. No proper lights in room itself apart lamps , ceiling lights just entry of room, made it way too dark in night to pack bag. Also pool looks sweet but its kinda in restaurant so unfortunately I booked hotel as was hoping to use pool...
Nice rooftop with bar
Staff is friendly, early check in possible. Perfect location
In the city center
This is my third stay. The location is very good. It is in the center of Windhoek. There are shopping malls and shopping centers nearby. It is very convenient for dining, traveling and shopping. It is also close to churches and museums. The hotel service is OK and satisfactory.
After staying for three days, I chose to continue staying because of the service and convenience. It was still great.
Our stay was brilliant. Breakfast was excellent. General service was great. The only downside was the AC in our room 1402. It kept leaking even though the Engineer checked it. Otherwise it was a great stay and will definately come back.
Great place for an overnight stay in Windhoek. The room was lovely and the food in the restaurant was quite good. Reception was very helpful and helped us book a 4am airport transfer to meet our 7am flight. They also prepared a travel breakfast pack for us. A very comfortable and easy stay here.

The bed in my room is world class. The rest of the room is pretty good.
But what makes the place a 5-star destination is the overall package.
The staff are all awesome. I've mainly been dealing with Lovisa and Katuu waited on me at dinner last night. They are 2 of the loveliest ladies you will ever meet.

Stayed here for a night. Room was upgraded to a suite as per membership benefit. Huge room with well equipped amenities. We dined at the restaurant for dinner and breakfast and received wonderful service from Augusto. Very kind gentleman. Thank you.
The team provided exceptional service — attentive, responsive, and genuinely dedicated to ensuring every guest was satisfied. Kapatjee coordinated seamlessly with fellow staff, keeping everything running smoothly. Thanks to her professionalism and warm attitude, our dining experience was outstanding.
Overall, your service deliver was excellent, your staff members in particular Fransina and Lusia, they are always smiling and eager to help. Your kitchen staff members are also excellent as they are always want to know if you got help. Thanks for enjoyable stay and I will comeback again..

Great hotel, delicious breakfast, great choice of restaurants on site, 3 restaurants. Large room.
Great hotel prior to starting the safari. Safe location. Lots of walkable restaurant options. Beautiful rooms and property! Staff very attentive and helpful.
Such a great hotel. And such lovely people working there. The Oasis room was better than my private appartment! Would directly move in if I could! Highly recommend! 😁
My Family had the most amazing stay at The Weinberg. The hotel extremely comfortable, with amazing staff and restaurants on site.
A special shout out to Beulah who made our stay particuarly special, with room upgrades (to accomodate our childrens needs) and special service and attention to detail.
Will definitely be back.
Staff and service were excellent. Room was lovely with a great shower. Convenient location with secure parking. Restaurants were really good and the cocktails at the sky bar were perfect.

My stay at the Hansa Hotel in Swakopmund was a delightful experience that perfectly blended history, comfort, and warm hospitality. Nestled in the heart of this charming coastal town, the hotel’s timeless classical architecture, dating back to 1905, adds a unique character to the stay.

I loved staying at the Delight. Such great service, breathtaking interior, spacious rooms in a stunning retro marine style with a SMEG fridge!!!! Just WOW! The breakfast buffet was huge, so many options even for vegans, I was baffled...
Large room and ensuite bathroom. Pleasant garden walkway linking the rooms with lounge/bar/reception/restaurant. Close to local shops and amenities. Short walk to beach and beach- side restaurants. But, but, but…. The breakfast spread is exceptional! The chef prepares waffles/pancakes etc etc. Huge selection - breads, pastries, muffins, yoghurt, fruit etc etc etc
We stayed here whilst visiting Swakopmund, its a cozy little place, nice rooms, convenient location and quite pleasant overall. Definately good value for money, rooms are clean. The noise can be a bit loud as its right by a main road. Service was decent.
My stay was exactly what I needed for a first time visit to Swakopmund. The hotel location makes it easy to walk around and explore. Chivonne and Lainna greeter meet warmly at the front desk when I arrived. Emmy and her colleagues were great for breakfast. Housekeeping was on top of things when it came to making sure my room was clean. Natasha at the bar made sure that my food and drinks were perfect...
Very attentive staff and VERY cute decoration in the reception, restaurant and bar areas as well in the room. Beds were comfy and a nice turn-down-service with hot water bottles in the beds. The views were not very special (view to the road). Also have to take into consideration it is a city hotel. However, we like the Gondwana concept and its approach to sustainability and combination with tourism...

Wonderfull place. We stayed two nights and did the Rhino tracking what was an experience never to forget.
Tents are very warm during the day but you can refresh at the pool or at the restaurant.
Drive to the resort is an experience on its own, especially after rain. We didnt drive a 4x4.
Only thing is the internet that isnt working very well and from a private reserve you could expect better (if its...
The rhino tracking was impressive and well organised with pick up for return. Trails around the camp are very well suited for extra hiking. Staff and food was excellent.
Campsite is clean & well maintained.
We did rhino tracking on foot, guided by Werner. Note that young rhinos can be playful 😄
It may be that all guides are at the level of Werner, but he was certainly outstanding in his knowledge of birds, tracks, and plants.
Restaurant staff was courteous and flexible.
The campsite was magnificent. Bathroom good, one was very dirty but the other nice with hot water shower.
A honeybadger spiced up our life first stealing our trash bag before we managed to store it in the car as we had planned. Then it came back in the middle of the night and attacked the thrash can.
Okay, as some of us always wanted to see a honeybadger.
We stayed at Waterberg Valley Lodge in September 2025. The location is amazing and they offer great activities. We did the Sundowner hike which was brilliant - a very special experience as it is done only per couple. We also did the rhino tracking by foot which was exhausting but worth it - we saw rhino and many other animals.
The tents unfortunately are not great. After a round trip through Namibia...
The view is fantastic from the chalet nearby the restaurant. A lot of activities can be booked directly with the hotel or you can explore the trails until the spring at the very end of the valley. Very friendly staff who helped us with our flat tire.
