I booked a room for two nights for the beginning of february.
I exchanged emails with the owner about my arrival time which was at 10 pm in the night aswell as he reassured me that I will get picked up from the airport.
After almost 40 hours of travelling I really wasnt in the mood to experience that nobody was there to pick me up. I had to negotiate with drunk taxi drivers about the price since they wanted me to pay 20 dollars for a ride I could have gotten for free.
When I finally arrived at the hotel at 11 pm the whole place, and neighbourhood was DARK. Everything was closed and there was no one to get me checked in. I had paid my room in advance! Now I had to walk with my heavy luggage thru thamel to find another place for the night since the taxi driver left already!
I tried to get in touch with the owner the next day and they are still ignoring my emails and the refund I asked them about! DO NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE!

Good value for backpackers. Nirvana Peace Home is tucked on a quieter street but borders Thamel. Room was comfy and clean but could have used more practical outlet placing. Bathroom had a few issues: needing to manually turn the tap to fill the toilet bowl each time, only cold water showers, sewage smell. But for the price and friendliness of the staff, it was a fairly good stay.
Good hotel with clean rooms and hospitality. Rooms come within budget. Is open until late night so it is good if you are planning to go out night and need a place to sleep late. Overall good.

The place is great. But the foods are not spicy enough as it should be. The price is okay. Overall nice place to eat korean food. I recommend you guys to eat bibimbap there. It’s really tasty.

Went to this restaurant with my cousins. The food was not that bad. Worth trying.

Cook for yourself or order it from the kitchen, both ways it is great. Had Korean food for dinner for 3 and paid 4400 which is around 44 usd. The food is cheap and is good. The only downside is crammed up ambiance. But, fairly big for a place like Thamel. The nicest thing, it has parking.
