My stay at the Marriott was simply outstanding from start to finish.
The service was truly impeccable — professional, attentive, and flawlessly organized at every moment. The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and exceptionally comfortable, offering a welcoming atmosphere that made it easy to relax after a long day.
The breakfast was excellent and abundant, with a wide variety of high-quality options to suit every preference. The restaurants were equally impressive, serving delicious dishes prepared with care and refinement.
I was also particularly grateful for the thoughtful gesture of being offered a complimentary two-hour late checkout, which made my departure day far more relaxed. In addition, the hotel kindly granted me access to the lounge with its generous buffet while I was waiting for my evening flight — a level of hospitality that truly reflects their commitment to guest comfort.

Super place....while one expects Marriott experience at its properties, this one stood out.
Great welcome by Prabin, warm greetings always by door woman which is genuine and heartfelt.
The icing on cake was the top floor lounge. Lavish spread which changes regularly, is super delicious and tops the tastes across cuisines of all regions, local, Indian, Mediterranean, Middle East, Far East. Great service and warmth will certainly make me return again with extended family and friends for sure.

Excellent services and very clean. The breakfast was mind blowingly good. Never had a nepali-indian heavily influenced brekkie before.

Great hotel, the staff really went above and beyond. The food was great and the room was quiet. This is probably the best hotel I've stayed at, primarily due to the staff. Every morning Sujit would welcome me to breakfast, order my omelet, and bring me my beverage. Every evening, when I arrived back at the hotel, Sandip would welcome me, inquire about my day, and ask if there was anything I needed. The location is conveniently nearby many other restaurants and shops. Most of the drivers were really good and would periodically point out certain locations of interest to me. Sitting by the pool and napping in the afternoons was very relaxing.

My mum and I only had one night at this lovely hotel, our final destination for our trip was Bhutan so we just needed somewhere to have a layover. We had booked through our airline but our only regret is not booking directly through the hotel itself. We usually do this but we thought on this occasion it might of been easier to book it all through our airways for ease, but of course it wasn't. Missed communication from our airline to the hotel, but the hotel couldn't of done more for us. We were greeted by lovely Sunita at check in, who truly looked after as for our stay. She was just so delightful and it has been so long in our experiences of having such wonderful customer service. Her front of house supervisor/manager was also delightful, his name has escaped us unfortunately. Our airline had told us via email we had dinner included in our room but they had not cleared that with the hotel. The manager on his own goodwill gave us access to the lounge at the top of the hotel to let us relax and have some small nibbles that were being offered at their happy hour. It was perfect for what we needed after such a long journey.
Sunita arranged a packed breakfast for us on our early departure and arranged for the hotel taxi to take us back to the airport. Our only mistake with this hotel was not booking direct, that was a big learn on our part.
The rooms are as advertised online, the food prices are fair for what we are used to from Europe, service was brilliant.

A decent five-star hotel, it was especially busy during Christmas. You can't go wrong choosing it in Kathmandu.
