This was my second time back and will be my go-to hotel for Kathmandu. It is clean and in an excellent location. The breakfast is also fantastic. The staff will keep your luggage while you trek in the mountains.

The rooms are very spacious and the staff is super friendly. The breakfast isn't very varied but it's acceptable. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The facilities are old, and while the access to the tourist street is good, the entrance being on a corner makes it inconvenient to use. Staff service is average, but not up to 5-star standards.

I will never stay at this disgusting hotel again. It doesn't even have a proper facade; it's small, dirty, and messy. How much did they tip to get a five-star rating? There's construction everywhere outside, it's noisy, and the windows don't even open.

The "Do Not Disturb" sign was lit on my door, but at 11 AM, I still received a call asking if I needed housekeeping and that they could arrange it immediately. That was quite odd.

The paid buffet breakfast was very mediocre. It was supposed to end at 10:30 AM, but when I arrived at 10 AM, many items were already gone, and there was no one to cook more right away.

The location, however, is very convenient, right in the heart of the Thamel area, so getting anywhere takes just a few minutes.

A most excellent stay at Aloft - great, friendly staff and a location that puts you in the middle of Thamel for shopping or laundry after a trek. I must say that I had one of my best sleep in any hotel at Aloft! Can’t really explain it because I am extremely picky with pillow, room temperature etc. But it just worked so well for me! I will look forward to returning for my next trip back to Nepal!

I come back over and over because I love this Hotel so much. The gym is the best gym in Kathmandu. The view from the pool and the Nylgiri Restaurant is spectactular. Every room I have stayed in has an amazing view out over the city because the rooms are multiple stories up in the building above the shopping center.

The place is great. But the foods are not spicy enough as it should be. The price is okay. Overall nice place to eat korean food. I recommend you guys to eat bibimbap there. It’s really tasty.

Cook for yourself or order it from the kitchen, both ways it is great. Had Korean food for dinner for 3 and paid 4400 which is around 44 usd. The food is cheap and is good. The only downside is crammed up ambiance. But, fairly big for a place like Thamel. The nicest thing, it has parking.
