I stay at Hotel Moonlight every time I come to Nepal. The staff are friendly, welcoming and professional. The rooms are clean and the breakfast is wonderful!! The courtyard and rooftops are oases and I am welcomed like an old friend. I also bring tour groups here and people are also very happy! Highly recommended!

A wonderfully 3 star hotel right in the centre of Thamel. Rooms good, shower warm and powerfull. Breakfast ok . Restaurant good, it's the staff that make it so friendly and polite, they cant help enough. Overall the best hotel on our Month trip through India and Nepal

Great hotel & great location just on the edge of Thamel. Staff were really friendly & very helpful with any request I had. Great bonus having the option to get collected from the airport which takes away from any anxiety arriving in a new country & having to arrange taxi to hotel. I hope to come back in September this year to see more of this wonderful country & people.

This hotel has an good location in Thamel. Stayed in three different rooms, they were all fine, and the view from the rooftop is excellent. A main asset of the hotel is the staff members, that are higly serviceminded, and very well coordninated

The location is excellent, but it's in an alley, so be prepared for heavy motorbike traffic in front of the hotel.
The room was fine, and the shower water pressure and temperature were also good.
Breakfast was okay, and although I got tired of it after the second day, it was still within acceptable limits.

This was my second time staying at Hotel Moonlight and I can highly recommend it! Good location, service, clean rooms and a great breakfast buffet. A big shout out to Anil who was super helpful in arranging taxis for us on a couple of occasions.

Nice western oriented hotel with good location. Very good breakfast bar. Room was comfortable and quiet. Staff very friendly. Would not stay anywhere else in Kathmandu.

I love the fruendkybhelpful staff at the hotel and I like the food and the layout of the space. The garden is lovely to sit it. The room had everything I needed. I enjoyed being here. It felt like home

Stayed here before and after trekking up to Everest Base Camp. The rooms are neat and tidy, with some obviously better than others, but I was grateful for the sleep after the trek. Breakfast buffet is good, and the hotel is close to all tourist attractions in the Thamel area. You can change money for a better rate at the front desk than what is offered on the street. The staff are very friendly and willing to help you should you have any requests of questions.

The place is great. But the foods are not spicy enough as it should be. The price is okay. Overall nice place to eat korean food. I recommend you guys to eat bibimbap there. It’s really tasty.

Cook for yourself or order it from the kitchen, both ways it is great. Had Korean food for dinner for 3 and paid 4400 which is around 44 usd. The food is cheap and is good. The only downside is crammed up ambiance. But, fairly big for a place like Thamel. The nicest thing, it has parking.
