It has a good location to move around Thamel zone. Is old but clean. The family owner is friendly. Easy to arrive from the airport from bus.
Really noisy till 3am in the morning, showers and toilets were of acceptable condition but not the best. If you need a good rest and nice clean toilets look elsewhere. Budget wise you can find similar hostel or guesthouse for quieter sleep and cleaner toilets.
Got a recommendation from Pokhara so we visited the place. It needs renovation. It's ambiance is ok ok. You can choose this if you are planning for a short stay of a day or two... Location wise it is located at Thamel - the heart of Kathmandu. It is at a 5 min walking distance from Ratna Park. Service is great. You get hot water n free Wi-Fi.
It's a budget hotel. You get what you pay for. The staff is really nice and helpful. But it's very noisy at night. There's a night club not too far and as I write this it's 4:00 am and the music is still going on. The beds are as comfortable as a 2x4 but I'm told it's the norm in Nepal. Also it's tucked in behind a few streets but I find as a solo female traveler it's safe enough. It's not too far from main area so that's cool. I really like the roof top. Nice place for breakfast.
A bit expensive but quite good

No hot water available in the hotel, management doesn't careless finally I don't suggest people to go this hotel.

The place is great. But the foods are not spicy enough as it should be. The price is okay. Overall nice place to eat korean food. I recommend you guys to eat bibimbap there. It’s really tasty.

Cook for yourself or order it from the kitchen, both ways it is great. Had Korean food for dinner for 3 and paid 4400 which is around 44 usd. The food is cheap and is good. The only downside is crammed up ambiance. But, fairly big for a place like Thamel. The nicest thing, it has parking.
